Or should I say classic? I was expecting all normals from my amel mother and anery father, but apparently they are in fact amel het anery x anery het amel, because I am seeing a rainbow of colours!

First mom and dad...then pippies!!!

Sorry for the double post. But I just took another look at the two out of their eggs. Really love to head pattern on the anery!

YAY! I'm so happy for you! They are finally here! Lots of colors! NICE! Did you want a Classic? I would LOVE one! Congrats on the babies!!!! How many eggs?

Thanks everyone! There is one classic so far, but there should be a few more.

I should get:

25% classic
25% amel
25% anery
25% snow

This morning there is 11 pipped and 6 of those are out of their eggs. There's 18 eggs, so still 7 more to pip.

It's always a great surprise when its unexpected :). I was told my snow may be a bubblegum! I just got to wait it out and see.

Love the colors! I see the Classic! Would love to have one! Congrats Girl! Well worth the wait! I'm at day 57 at room temps I bet my go closer to 80 days. :uhoh:

Well, everyone is out of their eggs. There were 18 eggs, but I only ended up with 17 babies. The last egg wasn't hatching and it had been 4 days since the first one pipped, so I slit it, but the baby inside was dead, wasn't even a fully developed baby, more of a grey mass with some snakie features.

Anyways, final count was 2 normals, 4 amels, 4 anerys and 7 snows. I might have liked some more normals, but I'm not complaining. :)

Here's the pile:

Oh my, the father of this clutch is one of the prettiest anerys I've ever seen!

And the babies!!!! Yay, the babies!!!

I spent years believing I had no maternal instinct whatsoever. Turns out I want to give birth to baby snakes! Oh, how I coo and babble over them! :D

Its great to babble and coo, but you have to get them to eat too! Its only been just under a week since all of mine shed but only one has eaten twice, one ate once and the others are holding out. To the OP, I hope you have great feeders!

True, but I am at the stage of Maternal Instinct where I have not produced my own snakey offspring, I just go all gooey-eyed over those of others. A few years down the road, when I breed a clutch (because there's no way I will avoid it), I will know the true worries of those lovely babies. Until then, I'm just glad you all keep posting yours! And good luck with them! I hope they eat for you soon!
