Meet "Tiny"
Tiny is a HUGE Okeetee male that I just picked up at PJC REPTILES last night...I also came home w/other treasures..But This guy just shed last night! ...so I was excited to get some photos of him!

He is beautiful and not a gram of fat looking either!

I saw a corn at one of the pet stores in the next city to me and it was so grossly obese that it could not even hold it's own self up if you did not support all of it. It was approx. 4.5 - 5 feet and weighed 1780 gms that is over 3.5 pounds!!! The fat on it looked and felt like globs of gelatin, it's circumference at it's widest part was approx. 6-8 inches. Yes I meant to type circumference not diameter!!!

Apparently, at another branch of the store they had it for over a year and on a "loose weight" diet of 1 Adult mouse every 7 days!! Can you just imagine what it was being fed previously to that?
 
What a big, handsome fella you have there! Is he a "locality" Okeetee? He doesn't have the broad black borders that I'm used to seeing on Abbott's and Love lines, but he certainly has the rich, saturated colors that all Okeetees seem to have.
 
:eek:He is awesome!!! I would have brought him home too. The one of you holding him is the best you just see how big he is along with all of his muscles. Great eye photo. I have never seen one with so much detail.

I have seen very obese snakes before and it really, really irks me..no way would I be attracted to him if he was a fatty....
He's just a big ol'boy.
and btw...I do know what circumference is...I don't know why diameter would have been a better choice?..seems I was trying to show how big AROUND he was anyway! hahaha :)

He's not fully "locality" that I know of..we were calling him a "Classic Okeetee"...and I think there was some talk that he just may be an old loveline..or have some in him...
Honestly PJ and Jay got him from an old man who goes back and fourth from ME to FL..and....well who knows..But he is bright and clean like an Okeetee..compaired to other Normals I'd say...

His eyes are amazing looking..the photo does not show you their true beauty..but I tried..

'Manda you misunderstood me when I said I meant to type circumference not diameter... it was not in reference to you... it was just me clarifying that the snake I saw at the store was that terribly over weight and my way of describing it was to tell you all the circumference not the est. diameter.

As everyone has said he is a real looker!! Nice pick up.

He's a big ole' SOLID King Snake. I just remember her jokin' about his size. Sometimes posting funny sayings around his photo. She's cracks me up!!!
Anyway I had to run go weigh my second to the biggest 07' Corn snake & he was only 580. So Tiny is HUGE, what yr is he?

Yeah Jake seems like a funny guy!!..I know Jay has tried to tell me the story at least 10 times..and every time he ends up laughing so hard the whole time..I lose track of what he's saying..LMAO!!:crazy02:.....I think I have ADD anyway......ooo shiny!....:

Wow! He's a great looking snake!
That's a big boy! I have two pushing 700 grams (Dragon-male Classic & Mica- WC female Alabama), & I thought they were huge!
