Corncob bedding is very dry so you'll see the snakes bathing often. I think I read somewhere on Melissa Kaplan's website taht it causes "excessive drying of dermal tissues." It could probably lead to shedding problems. I was at the pet supply store looking at different substrates last week and on the corn cob bedding package it says "not for reptile use." Still, some people do use it with no problems. It's aspen for me all the way
