Ugh...the life of a college student...

I miss my poor reptillian babies so much...but when I come back to my dorm to find my roommate passed out naked on the floor covered in magic marker scribbles...sometimes I think it's for the best that my little babies are safely 5 miles away in the house of a beloved relative. They are being taken care of really well (much better than I could possibly manage in my current housing situation), so I almost feel bad for even wanting to keep them with me in college.

Finals week is here...everyone's on edge. I just got screamed at by an engineering major because I turned the lights on suddenly. I ordered some food to be brought up to my dorm because I'm so busy. I'm typing this on a lunch break.

Anyone else in college and feeling the strain?

I'm in college and I am definitely feeling the strain! Finals begin on Monday and I am at the library as we type, procrastinating, as evidenced by the fact that I'm hanging out on CS.com. I find that the only thing that calms me down during times like these is to play with my reptiles. I took my new beardie out to Central Park this afternoon to up some sun. We chilled for two hours and it was glorious.

Oh most definitely... I somehow managed to get two of my three exams scheduled for the same day, five minutes apart.... So I've been spending my whole day ignoring the beautiful weather outside in favor of finishing a giant power point presentation and trying to study my physiology notes....

I just graduated on Saturday. Good luck with finals everybody! College goes by way too fast. Even if you're on the 6 year plan like me...

My finals are next week and Bio ethics and Bio anthropology are kicking my butt. It's the same teacher for both and she gave us a stack of packets to read as thick as a text book for both classes that I have to read for the tests. I have four finals, two essays, two make up quizzes and a lab test all do by Wednesday and I have work Saturday and Sunday all day. How I will be able to study for all them is beyond me but I'm so excited to just be done.

I'm a senior and have only ONE final left on Monday. It's so insane! These past four years have just flown by. I feel like I just graduated from high school yesterday... *___* Good luck on y'all's finals! It's a rough week for a lot of us.

Good luck with finals! I graduated several years ago but now work for a university, so I've been taking a few classes on their dime. I'm done for the semester! Yay! And have to agree that college goes by quick..and it's hard going back to school after being out!

I'm revising for second year university exams which start in just over a week. The way my course works, all assignment and exam results in the second and third years, roll up to form your final degree result. So yes, crucial exams for me. I'm quite lucky though - I only have four exams, two each in two weeks. So it's quite civilised (if exams are ever going to be "civilised"!).

Even with the exam torture, I'm so glad that I came back to give uni another try. I'm loving it! Best - and fastest - two years of my life so far. Can't believe I only have a year left :(

Good luck everyone!

Graduating on Saturday!!! Finally! Finals are over and I am just working through dead week.

hahaha, I busted out laughing when I read that first part.......

and watch out for us engineering majors, we tend to be jerks lol :nyah:

I just graduated in December but I'm thinking about going back to grad school soon....I miss college lol

I go to a school without tests, which sounds wonderful until you're sitting in front of your computer with your pretty color coded schedule and you realize that you have five hours to write four papers and you haven't slept in two days and you're running out of redbull...and you just quit smoking cigarettes after nine years and you're all out of nicotine gum. I'm so tired I could just die, I haven't slept in three days and I can barely function, but I have a delightful mandatory for class credit poetry reading to participate in tonight at 7, and I know if I fall asleep, I will miss it.

The one good thing is that i do have my snakies here with me, King Crimson and Jackie Onasis keep me sane when I am freaking out. Holding them is so calming.

I definitely feel the pain...I'm a full time student who also works a full time job...
Finals week starts Monday and I can't even express how ready I am for this semester to be over. I need a break! Even though I still have to work, it will feel as if I'm on vacation...Until one week later, when summer school starts. :(
Ahh...It never ends!

I finished my finals on Tuesday, I am sure I passed every class with an A... but what can you expect... I dropped out of college my first go around and joined the military.. I would be getting my degree this year if I would have stuck with it...

I'm going back this summer to finish what started seven years ago! I can only do this part time so it'll take some time, but I can't wait to get going. Good luck, everyone!
