Very concerned about my gravid female Diamond..

Just an update... I just got the bad news from my friend. The vet is not in office today and it's automatically $180 dollars to have her come in on her day off. I am not able to go at least not today. Thanks for the support everyone. ...

Sorry, I have to disagree. Yes there are some things you can learn to do for yourself, but what if the pet needs surgery? NO pet owner has the right to keep pets. Those pets don't deserve to have health problems or shortened lifespans because of their owners finances.

I fully agree with Janine.

We as keepers make the choice to keep them as pets. We as keepers make the choice to breed them.

If you are not fully prepared to take care of the animal, in the event something goes wrong, then a keeper needs to rethink the number of animals they are keeping and the choices they are making for those animals.

Diamond is well and eating very good for me. Thanks for some of the support on here. Thanks for asking about an Update Nanci. Diamond has had 4 meals each consisting of two mice .... the first two meals I kept her on hoppers and the last two meals I've gone up to weanling mice.
