Whether or not your viv is big enough depends partly on your snake's preferences. It's technically large enough, according to the usual wisdom. Some snakes like floor space, other like to go arboreal.
Here are a couple of ways you can increase your snake's "slither space" in the existing tank. You can provide him with a platform over part of the tank, which gives him something like an upstairs. This is super easy to do with legos, but there are other ways to accomplish it if you prefer.
You can also buy dollar/hobby store fake plants that are at least semi-appealing to you. They're much cheaper than pet store fake plants; fortunately,snakes haven't developed a noticeable bent for upscale merchandise. These can be upright plants or vines, as you choose. You can create a personal rain-forest canopy for your snake by hot-gluing the vines in place. One word of caution; sometimes fake plants have sharp spots. Check them thoroughly before putting them with your snake. Any sharp points can be quickly fixed with your handy dandy hot glue gun.
