We Always Have A Choice

You know I always wondered about that in Twilight. If they have all this money from Carlisle being an awesome Vampire surgeon for 400 years, how is it no one finds them out? Wouldn't banks start to get suspicious if large amounts of funds were transferred into other accounts? Wouldn't they connect the dots? Maybe there are no banks. Maybe the Cullens bury their cash in the woods, or have a hidden vault in their house.
I could be wrong but if I remember correctly if it's under $10,000 it's not tracked by big brother.

Also, I imagine that a vampire would have the funds to pay off the IRS if they were at all smart with their money.

Even putting money in a checking account for 400 years is going to gain you quite a bit of interest.

Think about how well you could do in real estate if you were going to live for hundreds of years!
