I typically prefer the Tesseras with the cleanest of stripes, but these aberrant/funky patterns really are eye-catching, aren't they?
And I can't help but say, I think some of those "Normals" have some really nice, strong patterns, too. They may be basic saddles, but they all just look really clean and solid!
Juju actually comes from Carol Huddleston at Low Belly Reptiles. If you're looking for fine snakes, check her out! Her specialty is high-end, beautiful Miamis.
I'm a little less certain about Una's heritage. I bought her from Walter Smith a few years ago, though he did not produce her, either. I believe she originally came from StrangeCargo? I could be wrong.
Popping in to share some updated photos! I still have a few stubborn feeders, but they are all coming along and looking beautiful.
I included belly shots this time around. There are a couple I'm fairly certain are Hypo, and a few others that I'm not sure about. I will mark them as they come up. I'd love feedback!
Finally, I'm sorry the images are on the huge side. Photobucket and I apparently have a disagreement going on.
Thanks for the feedback! I was pretty sure of the first two (#3 and #8) being Hypo, because their checkers are so pale compared to the others. Those other three all look Hypo from above, but the bellies aren't as pale so it's harder to be sure. Especially since I wasn't expecting Hypos to pop up in this clutch at all.
Yeah, I have a hard time telling about half the hypos out there apart from lighter normals and the checkers are one major way I can tell but some aren't different enough for me to be sure.
I'm really not a big fan of the tessera look but I'm really loving those funky guys. The cute little faces of all babies never gets old either, I don't know what it is but they are just so curious looking and adorable. Congrats on that clutch.
