The Rule Of Thirds.
OK, I'll play along.....
The first three all have the theme of one of my other passions: mountain biking. The first is one of me with my niece (old pic, she's now 9!!); I was at a Jimmy Buffett concert the night before - this explains the shark fin on the helmet. The next two are from a combination mountain biking/whitewater rafting trip I took in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. While I think the pic of me is fugly to the nth degree, the scenery is eye candy! And no, that's NOT a widow's peak, just helmet head!!! (But I will admit these shots were from the end of my "mullet era".)
The next one was taken just before I left for a blacktie fundraiser; I guess I cleaned up OK on this one - then again, the idiot grin is because, if I recall correctly, that was my 7th glass of wine.
Finally, I had intended to use the last shot for a Christmas card this past holiday season, by photoshopping out the retrieving dummy and replacing it with a candy cane of the same size.....but real life got in the way - maybe next year. Anyhoo, microseconds before I tripped the shutter, Bo was in a complete sit at my feet, and lept that high from the sit (and I'm 6'2"!).
regards,
jazz
