What a strange, beautiful cube! [do you confirm?]

Lilou

Italian sweetie ^.^
Hi!
This little one is a friend of mine (Gianluigi) 2008's hatchling.
We looked him today and we asked ourselfs if he's or not a cube. [In the same clutch there were other cube corns!]
He's son of 2 normal cornsakes, both 100% het for amelanistic - hypo - lavender - anery A - motley striped.

Do you confirm? ;)

you say that the snake is het motley-striped, do you mean that they are normals het motley OR het stripe? or are they motley stripes (which genetically are het both motley and stripe)?

do the parents have normal pattens or motley-stripe patterns?(pictures may help)

were any stripes produced?

could you post pictures of other hatchlings in the clutch?

Just a moment! I resize the other shots and post it! :)
His parents have a NORMAL pattern, but are het for motley and striped. [explain me in English the correct expression to describe an het for motley and striped!]

a snake which is het motley AND stripe would look like a motley or a motley-stripe NOT like a normal cornsnake because stripe and motley are allelic.

if the parents were produced from breeding a motley stripe to a normal then the offspring would either be het motley OR het stripe. if you have produced stripes from your breedings then the pair are het stripeif you have just produced motleys and motley-stripes then your snakes are either both het motleys or one is het motley and the other het stripe.

what else has been produced from your breedings??

If there were cubes in the clutch, both parents are at least het stripe. The question is, were there any mots or normals in the clutch?

I'm wrong.
In this clutch there were NO cube. [They are in an other clutch with the same father. Later i will post the pics.]

These are father and mother. Both het for amelanistic - hypo - lavender - anery A - motley OR stripe. (I understood, thanks ;)) They are son of a male Opal and a Female ghost motley/stripe. (I have to say that the "grandfather" opal, had also "banded" son in other clutches.)

These are some of their other hatchlings (there are other hatchlings with NORMAL pattern):

Even with no belly shot in that first pic if you see enough mots you can tell by the top pattern and the sides. I'm guessing that's what Mike sees also.

I'd like to see the whole snake laid out straight. I can't see, for myself, really any pattern I can tell anything by. Although I guess I do see a resemblance to clutchmate amel #1. (Not saying you guys aren't right- just as a learning experience for me).

Now.
We don't know if father or mother are het motley or stripe.
As torsten said, if in this clutch we had normal, motley and motley stripe, the parents could be or both het motley, or one het motley and the other het stripe. Is it right?

But I know that the father had an other cluch with an other normal female het motley OR stripe, and hatchlings are cube and normal. None motley or motley stripe.
This could mean that the father is het stripe, isn't it?

In conclusion, can I say that the father is an het stripe, and the mother (of this clutch) is an het motley?

And then.. what is the pattern name of the first hatchling? O__o'

I have another question. In THIS clutch, were there any normals?

Answering my own question- there have to be, right?

And, I see you said that at the beginning, in the post of the OTHER clutch pictures. Nevermind.

From the information that you have given, the male should be het stripe and the female that produced this clutch should be het motley, and the female that produced the "cubes"-other clutch, should be het stripe.
