What a strange, beautiful cube! [do you confirm?]

yes you are correct, if the other clutch produced stripes then the male must be het stripe, and as you have produced motleys and motley stripes from the other female she must be het motley. because of this you cannot have any homo stripe offspring and therefore the snake in picture one must be gentically homo motley or het motley het stripe. phenotypically it is a motley however to prove its genotype i belive breeding trials would be nneded, that is the same for any motley type animals produced from this breeding. any normals produced will be poss het motley OR poss het stripe.

In conclusion, can I say that the father is an het stripe, and the mother (of this clutch) is an het motley?

And then.. what is the pattern name of the first hatchling? O__o'

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this statement to be true, and you would call the hatchling motley het stripe.

Ooook! wow
I'm a good schoolgirl x)

nanci: oops, you are correct, every non-normal hatchling will be a motley het stripe/motley-stripe(whatever you wish to call it) so Het motley and het stripe. you could not get any homo motleys because motley is not carried on both sides.

I live in the south of Italy, Salerno. :)
But i'm moving to Bologna, in the north.

A little far from all you :(

I've already said, yes :)
If you want, i can resize and post their shots!

sorry, you are so fast! :|
It was for Nancy, and her question about normal hatchlings :)
I write English slow, and You don't give me the time x)
From now, i will always quote! :p

Oh my...oh... I literally gasped for air and shouted out loud when I saw the pictures of the hatchlings. I've never seen anything like that before! That snow and amel "stripeds" are amazing. Really amazing! Made me wonder what would transportation to Finland cost. ;)

I'd like to see a better picture of that normal motley/cube (the one in the original first post). If you can take a picture of it where he/she is stretched more straight so we can see the whole snake from head to tail? It would help to see another picture of it's side too.

From the two pictures I couln't say for sure wether it's motley or cube.

In the end we said that he's a motley, because in the clutch there were motley stripe, motley and normal also.
Gianluigi is making other pictures. I will post it soon! :)

Other pictures! :)
