What is my corn doing?

Nice pics. Cute little guy. I can't wait for mine to be more active when I'm around. When I am in the room he heads back into his hide. I know he was out today because when we came home today at 5:30 he was on his log. He went back into his hide. It's only been four days so He's probably still shy.
 
Ive had mine for about a month now and i never saw him outside the viv, except this past week, somehow for some reason hes been doing this... And when i saw him outside this morning and now when i came home from work, i knew why, i forgot to feed him last night... other than that i never see him and to be honest, i am afraid to put some plants or a log in there.
Thanks, i like the colors of my snake, im into deeper colors.. And from the looks of your awful pics, yours is a beauty.... You just need to work the camera better, youll probably get crappy pics untill you get that SLR out.
