WHAT is this???

#1) Blood (Bloodred poss/het HY, following 1st shed)
#2) Blood (Normal het Blood, possibly a Blood, has slight belly checks)
#3) Hypo Blood (Hypo Blood)
#4) B het Hypo (Bloodred poss/het HY, recent updated pic)
#5) Blood (Bloodred het CH)
#6) same as #4 (Bloodred poss/het HY, recent updated pic)
#7) Blood (Bloodred poss/het HY, following 1st shed)
You don't wanna know what my dog has taught me . . .

So, the point being, if you compare Pic 5 to Pic 1 or 7, there's not much difference at all as hatchlings. You compare Pic 4 or 6, to this updated pic of a Bloodred het CH and you'd swear they were Hypo Bloods. :shrugs:

Since yours are distinctly different as hatchlings, I'd be fairly confident labeling the lighter one as a Hypo Blood even though it appears to be a bit darker than my Bloods poss het Hypo.

I feel he stands out enough as well. I was waiting for him to 'normalize' or for his siblings to brighten like him, but IMO he is still very distinctive from any Bloods I've hatched out ( didn't have the Hypo gene until now). Anyway, He's a holdback and will be bred to his mother in the future, so hopefully that would prove out with a clutch of approximately 50% Hypo and mixed morphs...
