What New Years resolutions aren't you going to make!!

50k!!! Nice! I'm doing my first half marathon this spring--actually, that's my fifth: Run a half marathon. I'd love love love to do long distances like like and ultra marathons!

I've run Wickham Park Marathon three times, consecutively. At the time, I was the first woman to do so. I don't know if anyone has, since. Read the entry information and the FAQ!!

The 50k was a trail race, too. Trail running is so much more fun that road running!! You can do it!

Long distance cycling is a LOT more fun, though, to me than running. You can _eat_ and not die. You cover a TON of new territory. If you do brevets (look it up!!) you even get nice little rest stops, and meals, and have fun people to ride with. 50k running is one thing, but 600k on a bike? Who even does that??? Tons of normal people like me! It's SOOO fun. And you get so doing a century ride is like a little fun training ride for the weekend. It's WAY easier to maintain your base than with running.

So back to resolutions we're not going to make: I'm not going to resolve to lose weight, but this eating like a ravenous Florida Kingsnake has got to stop! SRSLY!!

That's an insane marathon! I love trail running, I run cross country, and it's a lot of trails and grass. A 600k bike ride is...I can't even fathom it. I'm not exactly a big cyclist, but I would like to get into it, and I'm sure that I'd like it if I did! Maybe that's a new resolution as well: Start biking more!

I never road biked before- I always mountain biked. I borrowed a bike and did a 50 mile ride, and then bought a road bike. I LOVE it.
