what size viv do you have for your adults?

The topic says it all...what size viv do you have for your adult corns?
i was wondering if a 30L would be big enough...the only other size i've seen around here is 55 and thats pretty big hehe :sidestep:
suggestions are also welcome :)

I have no clue on your volume sizes but I use cages that are 3 and half foot wide and one and half foot deep and one foot high ;) They seem to have plenty of room in there. Even the monster sized corns.

That's big, but i like it that way! My minimum sizes for adults are 80x50x50 cm or approx. 2,5 feetx 20 inch x20 inch, but some are different but with same floorspace.

3 x 1.5 x 2 (I have a couple of those ... single snakes only)

4.5 x 3 x 2.5 (approx - that has 3 adult females in it rather than just a single snake)

:)

I use the 55 gallon long :D (36 inches long) seems to be enough space, especially when they are on the move to shed :D

My 30 gl. is 36" long. I have my amel in a 40 gl. as he's around 4 ft. and moves around quite a bit.

Cool beans :D I'm going to make a rack (maybe this weekend) for my actual tanks :D I never knew how hard it was to find a book case to fit a 36" long tank! Maybe if it turns out neato we will share! :D

I honestly think it's dependent on the snake and how much it likes to roam & size (big snake =big viv) & what you like :D

FWIW, A.G.'s in a 55g with lots of room to roam. He's a big boy, a few inches over five feet.

30 L should be appropriate. Minimum reccommended for an adult is a standard 20 gallon, so it's well over that, but it's not monstrous. Remember, how often do you see a corn stretched out from end to end? Also with a 30L, they make racks that will fit two of these on the same rack, to take up less space.

do you know where i can find a rack for a 30L tank?

my biggest is only a 04 but, she is in a 30gl and it is 3x1x1.5 in feet, but i am going to make a rack with underbed storage racks cut in half, just about 3square feet in those and more room then a 32QT. i think that the standart is a 20L and that is just about 2.5 square feet, 30 inches long anf 12 deep.

I'm not sure who makes them, but they make some Rod Iron (not the best looking, but hey...) That are sold at most bigger pet outlets. I think Pet supplies Plus carries them near me, that's where I got my last two. They don't always have them in stock, but can probably order them. I think they were around 30-40 bucks a piece.
