I use the 55 gallon long :D (36 inches long) seems to be enough space, especially when they are on the move to shed :D

FWIW, a 55 Long tank is 48" long x 15" wide (front to back). A 50 Breeder is 36" long, but I think 24" wide off the top of my head.

Minimum reccommended for an adult is a standard 20 gallon, so it's well over that, but it's not monstrous.

FWIW, a 'standard' 20 gallon is usually a 20 High tank which is only 24" long. What's actually recommended is a 20L or Long which is 30".

do you know where i can find a rack for a 30L tank?
Any 36" stand will hold a 30L tank.

Where do you guys find the 30L's??? I've never seen that size here! :eek1:
A 30L is usually a standard 30 gallong tank (36" long). A 29 gallon tank on the other had is 30" long but taller than a 20 Long, and is often mis-spoken as being a 30 gallon tank.

. . . and to answer the thread's question. A 20L is recommended as minimum size. I have several adults that are in 20L's. I have a couple that are in 30's. I have three in a homemade cage that gives them 36" of length and 15" of depth. I also have many of my adults in 32 Quart Sterilite. Many options are available to you. It all depends on your space requirements and how many snakes you are trying to house.

Above comments are based on 15 years of selling fish and reptile tanks.
