WHAT THE ?!?!?!?!

Such a gorgeous little Tuna! :)

I have no clue what to say, other than I want him! ^_^ He reminds me of so many morphs. Sunkissed, anery, ultra, lavender... for a moment I thought even lavender ghost. Hehe. Whatever he is, if you ever make more of him I want one! Awesome little guy.

Sunkissed Silverqueen maybe? He sure is cute as a button hope you can narrow down his true genes soon:)

What a lovely little snake! Add me to the throngs of avid viewers just waiting to see what the little bit turns into. :)

This snake is so unusually beautiful. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you came up with a new morph here. After all, this is usually how new morphs are found. The patterns and coloration look like a sunkissed ghost. Wouldn't it be nice if this were a new form of Anery??????

On another note, when you do breed him, I honestly would like to purchase one of his babies.

Well I would doubt it's something completely new, if it is, to be honest I don't know that it would be one that lasts all that long, he's very pretty for sure, but just too similar to the sunkissed. Who wants another anery that looks just like sunkissed but causes confusion because it doesn't have any solid indicators to make it easy to identify on site? I know I don't really want it ;) I'll do what's needed to test him out for sure, but hey, Murphy could always nip that in the bud I guess, scary when pretty much the whole project rests on just one snake to reproduce.

I hope it all goes towards sunkissed myself and I'm working on securing a pair of homo stargazers to test him to, not that I would have any reason to suspect, but if he is a sunkissed, why not kill two birds with one stone and test him to a homo sunkissed gazer?

This guy is just so much of a fluke and has really come from nowhere, that's what the confusing part is for me...

Interesting thread. So are you doing breeding trials with this guy this year?

Nope, maybe next year, but I've been growing him pretty slowly, he's only 100 grams and I still consider him one of my "babies". I'm in no rush to grow him since the females I definitely want to breed him with <his sisters> will not be bred until I'm SURE they are ready. It's all pointing towards trials starting next year... With luck ;)

Thanks for the update, Rebecca. I'm glad to see Tuna's continuing to do well.

On the topic of eyebrow dots, IMHO they're adorable but not necessarily indicative of anything. I know that sunkissed corns have them, but they do pop up in other places. I have an amber from Rich Z. with dots. Okay, she was tagged as "odd amber?" and I know that she's p/h for who-knows considering the source. However, a colleague just brought me an '09 with lots of dots and freckles. His son found it while sweeping the porch....

Yup, I have an Amber boy with them as well as another, I think it's an anery? so I don't attribute the dots on the head to meaning too much. Though in Tuna it really makes me think sunkissed?

Awesome snake! I love how the saddles are getting brown-ish.

I had an Okeetee that I just sold to IrishEyes (Mrs.Z), which she named Fiesta. He too had the dots above his eyes and that was usually how we told him apart from his brother. I never bred him because we originally thought "he" was a "she" so I couldn't tell you what kind of genetics he held other than the fact that he was an Okeetee, but I had to point out the dots because that was always my favorite feature of his :D.

Neato! Had to read the whole thread! I love that light tan/brown color and can just imagine the pink tones. Very cool! How neat would it be if it proved out!

That is pretty wild he came from those parents! I bet when you saw that nose you were freakin out w/ joy!! He has turned into such a beautiful snake! Congrats.
