I agree with Susan on this. Looks like a Sunkissed Anery to me. As a matter of fact looks pretty similar to the one we have. Yours is rather light, has a bunch of pink and the strange reduction in coloration inside, on either side of the blotches. Just like ours. I don't know why I didn't notice this thread when you first posted it. Looks like you gave "Murphy" a great big kick in the pants. Great hatch Rebecca. :cheers:

Well, I'm not rushing him to grow so far, though he's doing quite well. I'm not sure all I will try breeding him with and who I should try first. I'm still leaning on this little freak being odd due to something with incubation? I mean out of 23 babies, only one looked weird? Very strange indeed....

I think if I do him to a blizzard that oughta be good for testing out amel, ultra and charcoal..

Obviously lavender will need to be tested. Should I do a plane jane lavender, or a hypo lavender stripe?

I've given away four of his sisters to friends so obviously he'll need to do them...

I don't have a nice female sunkissed yet. Would like to find one either het or homo for gazer as I need to test Danny, my sunkissed male as well as this little guy, and really don't want to deal with any possible gazers :(

I guess I'll need to do an anery of some sort as well. Perhaps I should use a granite for that one, then I might get some anery het for "Tuna" and blood! lol!

Guess I have a very long time to figure things out! AT LEAST one more year! :)

No way! (Like I know anything, but can weird incubation cause a COLOR change? Has that ever happened to anyone??? I've just seen weird patterns and physical defects). He has to be _something_.

It's tough to see from the pictures, but he really is quite pink along with those blue grays, still a really weird dude. He has lost his spunk though :( Just as tame as so many other corns out there. At least he still eats with great gusto!

I also say Sunkissed Anery. Did you already get a female Sunkissed for him, perhaps on a breeding loan?
 
sunkissed anery was my first thought when I saw it. I missed this thread when it starts, but these pictures scream sun anery to me :shrugs:
 
Wow, he is really cool. I can't believe he came from 2 Okeetees. That is crazy. He is quite the looker . . . the girls will be lining up to be tested *LOL*

Okies.. I agree, it is looking more like a sunkissed...

I think Stephen W hatched an anery stripe many years ago, from an Okeetee to Okeetee crossing.. Weird things..
 
Nope, the female hadn't been bred the previous year, or the one before that. I house all my snakes individually so there is no possibilities of a different father. The strange thing was the numbers. If it is simply a sunkissed anery, why over 20 siblings not one an anery, not one a sunkissed?? Weeeeeeeird!
