WHAT THE ?!?!?!?!

Nope, the female hadn't been bred the previous year, or the one before that. I house all my snakes individually so there is no possibilities of a different father. The strange thing was the numbers. If it is simply a sunkissed anery, why over 20 siblings not one an anery, not one a sunkissed?? Weeeeeeeird!

Rebecca
Did you do the same pairing this year to see if you get another one or maybe an anery or a sunkissed?

Looks like an anery-ultra:

Same head/neck pattern too.

The eyebrow dots are not an indicator of Ultra. My normal anery male has those. My female ghost has a single dot.

I know its not but it reminded me more of an ultra I've seen than most sunkissed corns I've seen. He could be just sunkissed anery who knows.

Time for another Tuna update!!! He's doing awesome possum! :) The pink has been decreasing a little bit again! It's absolutely still there but not as much as two sheds ago. It'll be funning if it keeps coming and going the way it has!

Wow. What the heck?
Cool story and just as cool snake. I have an idea or two what could've happened, but I'll leave that for later.

WOW!

That's one fantastic looking baby! Can't wait to see more pics as maturity comes! Definately doesn't quite look like any morph I've seen pics of as babies, and how unexpected! How fun! :D

Im sure she's not for sale..but why is it that the only two hatchlings that I would consider buying are OVERSEAS! Darn! LOL

Im trying to be VERY selective with my second snake beacuse I know the hubby will only allow one more. I was trying to hold off for a ghost blood but this one looks very similar (to my newbie eyes anyway)...

He is beautiful!! Congrats!

Overseas???? it's always a fellow "Jersey peep" .... guess I gotta change my location on my profile :sidestep: :D

Thread rusurection!

Another Tuna update! Guess in three months or so he might be coming up on 2?!?! Wow! Time flies. I'm still feeding on sparing schedule averaging only once a week, sometimes a little less often than that.. Creeping up on 100 grams, I'm in no hurry. :) He's looking great, doing great, but taking his sweet time. Both his sisters I have are MUCH bigger than him! lol! So yeah, here he is! As a note, the pink is not so intense anymore?!? It seems to come and go in intensity, it has done so very slowly twice?!?!? Weirdo...

Thanks for looking!

Rebecca

Oh gosh! That's probably the prettiest corn I've seen in a long time! Whatever he is, I hope he makes you some equally pretty babies!

The eyebrow dots are not an indicator of Ultra. My normal anery male has those. My female ghost has a single dot.

I find that most creamsicles or emoryi crosses have those "eyebrow" dots. I am not saying that all emoryi crosses have them, but a lot do. Nor am I saying all snakes that have them, have emoryi blood. I do look for them, though...
It's just an observation, I've observed over the years.

This snake is so unusually beautiful. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you came up with a new morph here. After all, this is usually how new morphs are found. The patterns and coloration look like a sunkissed ghost. Wouldn't it be nice if this were a new form of Anery??????

On another note, when you do breed him, I honestly would like to purchase one of his babies.
