You still need a pair of Rubbers though. But then again, so do I.

Not a huge fan of the Salvadors. Beautiful wee dwarf boas, but I like em colourful! The Bolivians and corn isles just pop with colour, and are very rare :p

Red-tail boas were my second species that I kept and bred (once). We were given 2 BPs shortly afterwards, but I don't count either as we didn't really want them nor did we keep them very long. My next snake species purposely purchased were a pair of Cal kings which had a black rat included for free. Then a jungle corn (he counts as he has 3 species in his make-up...Cal king, cornsnake and Thayeri king). And last is my pair of pure Thayeri kings.

Cutest snake picture ever. I hate my state for not allowing me to buy one from Don. :twoguns:

tee heeeee!

I'm a getting my next snake next weekend (if the guy bringing it down comes though).

His owner is going to college.

It's not a corn, that's all I'll say for now!
I'm so excited!

ROFL.... hahaha - many have said (actually my Mother said this) that my choice for a hobby is much like my choice in men: cold, emotionless, not affectionate and bites me every now and then. :bang:

Enjoy!

That IS the cutest picture ever. And to think we grow them here - however, I have yet to see one. Very worm like aren't they? Maybe that's why I miss them - I dig em up and fish with them accidently. :sidestep:

ohhhh... that would be bad huh?

I saw one of these guys at a local store a couple weeks ago, and my interest was definitely piqued. Guess that's another one to add to my list of potential seconds. :)

This is not going the way I thought it would..
In the shop people come in, know what a cornsnake is (they've done all the research) and leave happy.
A few months later, they're talking amels and opals and lavs an things.
Then the next one they all seem to want is a Ball... Not all but the majority...
I know what it is..... You lot are just weird....

Nothing wrong with my theory .... it's you... LOL

Would have been a BP, but the GF hates them for some odd reason.

So I bought my California Kingsnake, and about 10 minutes later, my Children's Python.

My second snake species was a pueblan milk snake! My first was an amel cal-king. Why assume our first was a corn? (Corn was third for me.) My fourth was a RTB and my fifth is finally a ball python. :grin01:

Actually that's a lie! I kept a few different species of wild snakes before ever buying a "pet" snake. Garters, ribbons, speckled kings, black racers, brown water snakes, queen snakes.

Of the various paid-for "pet" snakes: I've kept various cal-kings, mexican blacks, milks, boas, corns and most recently got interested in ball-pythons.

I wish I had never sold the mexican black I once had... it was a beauty!
