What....

Ultramels look similar to Hypos as hatchlings. Most have wine colored eyes. This is a mystery! Maybe a hypo stripe, but I would think that the red pigment would be a bit darker. :shrugs:

I would love to see pics of this guy post shed. I think we are all being fooled by how muted the color it is by being in the blue.

Hmm. Not bad! Where in Mexico do you live? I _love_ Mexico!!

Mexico DF, what parto of Mexico do you know Nanci?

I know Quintana Roo. I used to be really into cave diving- that is one of the best places in the world. So beautiful. The beaches and coral reefs are nice, too! I have never met nicer people anywhere.

Thanks my friedns i think that i buy the corn

Really, it all comes down to- do you love how the snake looks enough that the price they are asking for it is okay with you? Double the price of a normal is not a bad price for any "fancy" corn, especially a stripe. You know it has at least two additional genes- stripe and either hypo or ultramel- or something mysterious. And it's a very beautiful snake. It will undoubtedly be a bolder, brighter orange after it sheds, and will continue to increase in intensity for the first couple years, as it grows.

Do you have other snakes, or other reptiles?
