What's your $5000 dream project

Boelens Python. Such amazing animals (Crappy cell photo I took in July of a female, that belongs to one of my friends.)

Mmmmmmmmm Boelens... drool. Pretty sure that would cost more than $5000 once it's purchased, shipped to the north pole (Edmonton), caged, and fed. And then I'm pretty sure I would have no idea what to do with it! I would need to start working out to handle a snake like that! Hahaha

I'm just hoping somewhere down the road I can get a couple of carpet pythons, house them in amazing display cages, and then prevent them from attempting to eat any of my other snakes/small dogs, or from sneaking in any nookie and then having suprise babies on me.

I would absolutely love a coral/salmon tessera with the colors of the JMR corals. Would lolove having a bright pink tessera!!

For corns only, definitely a Palmetto or two! Maybe throw in several morph Tesseras, as I just love Tesseras with most anything else.

You guys can have your "fancy" snakes! Lol

Just give me a few good old fashioned bull / pine snakes. I'd be happy. ;)

I'm not really a Palmetto fan I guess. They are okay, very unique and beautiful, but there are so many others I'd like more :)

What is your attraction to "old fasioned" snakes Rich? :)

I honestly don't need much more in terms of animals for my breeding projects, I would probably take the opportunity to pick up a snake or two that I like with the genes I'm using, but that wouldn't nearly amount to $5k.

Mostly, I'd spend it towards equipment. I'd get a second 10-slot adult rack to match the one I have, and then I'd be investing in hatchling racks. I'd change out my heating system on my homemade rack (it works fine, but now that I know more I wouldn't have done it the way I did). Oh, and I might splurge for a nice, reliable incubator. Haven't decided on that one, because the tub-on-the-rack method has worked well for me thus far, but it does make me feel a little podunk sometimes. LOL

I agree, I am a simple girl who loves the basic morphs.

So Rich, do they sell "fancy bulls" or "fancy pines" at the big box stores? :roflmao:

It's not that I prefer one snake over the other.

I'm just saying.... I'd never need $5000.00 to spend on a snake. EVER!

;)

What if it were a fluffy snake with wings? One that you could ride to places, kinda like a luck dragon, but without limbs and add wings?

I don't think I would ever spend 5k on a single snake. I would use 5k for everything I'd need to start a breeding project. I'm very new to snakes so I'd be starting from scratch with everything. I have no idea if that would require the whole 5k but I'm sure I could fill my entire spare bedroom with snakes lol.
