Which are rare?

You have to remember whats rare this year will be old news in a few years and decrease in value significantly. Breed what you like because breeding for value alone may leave you disappointed.

Agree with Danielle. I bought two GoldDusts three years ago, for £500. You can now buy GoldDust Motleys in the UK for less than £200 and they'll carry on getting cheaper, very fast as more people breed them.

If you're considering breeding, breed the Corns that you love to look at and enjoy owning. That way you'll never feel short-changed. It worked for me!

how much do u recon a common or semi albino amelanistic corn will sell for

Which corn snakes hatchlings will sell for alot?

thank you

Sorry Snakeman Charlie- this question cannot be honestly answered. I noticed that your from England- are you speaking about the "European market" or the "US market"? It's kinda like asking, "What groceries cost alot?"

Currently on the US market there are multiple animals that are fetching a high price (ie $500+ each).

- Many on the double & tripple homo sunkissed & lava morphs (Just to name a few Hypo Lav Sunkissed, Lava Bloodred, Topaz, etc)
- Tessera Corns
- Some Bloodred Morphs (ie pied sided, hypo pied sided, fire striped, etc)
- etc

Hope that helps somewhat

On the US market the AVERAGE for an ALBINO (ie Amelanistic) Corn is:

Online: $15-$20US
Petstores: $30-$50US

That'd be about the same in £ sterling over here. Normals slightly less than an Amel. But it varies regionally over here as well. I live in an area that has an excellent local reptile shop that keeps a good supply of Corns. If you don't live anywhere near a supplier or breeder, then you can expect prices to be higher when you have to have them shipped to you.

When you say "semi albino amelanistic", what do you mean?

That does sound like an Amel - some come in shades of orange and white rather than red or pink.

You must spread rep... yadda yadda yadda. Another great post danielle. I'll just have to hit you with some rep next time around lol.

how much would a morph semi albino amelanistic sell for
As there isn't a morph called "Semi Albino Amelanistic", I don't think we can comment.

We'd have to know what morphs the parents were so that we understood the genetic make-up, and could work out the accepted morph name. When we know the morph name that is normally used, we could then tell you how much it's worth.

Like Bitsy said theres no such thing as semi albino amelanistic. Amelanistic means albino-either theres some black pigment or none at all. However, for instance an opal is an albino lavender, fire is an albino bloodred, and so on. If yours is just a normal albino especially without hets expect next to nothing.

Alright, in the Canadian market Golddusts, Bloodreds, anything -pied or diluted, Aztecs, Tessera, and cubed patterns sell for a good $. But I agree with danielle. Breed what YOU enjoy looking at because selling snakes is a tough business... popular morphs and colours can change monthly and you could be stuck with 10+ hungry little babies, who then turn into hungry little adults.
