    Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Which are rare?

You're not really supposed to advertise here unless you're a paying member ( need one of those shiny coiny thingys under your name) but could you please tell me what these are?
semi albino almenistic
or show a pic?

I'm thinking he is calling them 'semi' albino because amels still have color...and he doesn't understand the terms albino/amel as they relate to snakes. Albino being 'total lack of pigmentation' so an amel would be "semi albino" :shrugs: I think he needs to learn the proper terms before he goes around trying to sell snakes that he doesn't even know how much they are worth. This thread smells.

Yup, Amel and Normal. You can't sell via this site without becoming a Contributing Member, but don't expect big money. Even here in the UK, you're looking at the two lowest value Corns - round my way a Normal will go for £30 or less, Amel for not much more.

Shipping in the UK will probably cost several times the value of these particular snakes, as recent Animal Welfare legislation means that couriers now have to be specially licensed to carry livestock and have properly adapted vehicles. You'd probably be better off advertising and selling them locally as "Buyer Collects".

If you want such a low price, then you should be able to sell them easily by advertising locally where you live.

Not much point keeping on about it here - most folks who contribute to this board are in America and I'm afraid that few of us Brits would travel to pick up a Normal and an Amel.

When selling to retailers, you'll always get a much lower price that then shop sells them on for.

If you're desperate to sell, then any price is better than being stuck with hungry mouths that are just eating potential profit (not that you're likely to make a profit if you're breeding Normals & Amels these days).

If there's more than one reptile centre/seller in your area that you'd trust, then you might be able to negotiate a slightly more favourable price. I produced some Normals last year and got £8 each from my local reptile shop after they'd taken 3 feeds each.

However if there's only one place locally that will buy from you, then you'll just have to take what you can get for them - it's a buyer's market. There's probably little point offering Normals and Amels over the internet due to the shipping costs previously discussed, and no point spending money on petrol taking them to another shop out of your area. Your only other option is to sell direct to the public and then you have the hassle of strangers trampling through your home, which can be a pain in the butt if you have a bunch of hatchlings.

:noevil::noevil:

Thanks alot that is really helpful

A PM is a personal message.
£10-15 is about the best price you can expect for private sales of classic or amel corns, and a shop willing to take a whole clutch (even at £5 each) is better than not selling them at all. Good luck!
