Yes, I agree, too. I thought it looked like SOME kind of insular Epicrates when I first looked at it. After studying it a bit, it looks more Cuban to me than any of the other species.
 
Yeah, the thing that looks like a rattle in the first pic is just the knot of the rope on the chock block. They pull the other end of the rope to free the wheels.
When I first looked at the picture I was thinking the head shape looked like a rosy boa, obviously it isn't but I'm proud of myself for noticing something was off!
