Why you shouldn't judge a book by the cover

Mike, so sorry I missed this the first time around. I have an old paperback book, at least 30 years old, with one of these on the cover. When I was a lad, for me exotics were no more than an idea to daydream about.
But ETB's were my favorite, in the beginning because they were such a beautiful green. And remained so as I looked more closely at them over the years.

I really look up to people who find an avocation, zero in on it, are picky and fastidious about it. His home set up says order and only the best.

Glad you were able stumble across this guy and that he allowed you to share the pics.
I've said before, it's allllllways the quiet ( "insular and unassuming" ) ones that surprise you.

Julian was quite a find. He's an old school keeper, with old school ways. He has a library of old, hard to get books, which he's willing to share with us. And he's a font of knowledge, from things he's kept in times gone by.....
We've introduced him to forums and you probably seen his posts over at the dark side.... LOL
I just hope they don't corrupt him, and make him world weary.
