I'm gonna bump this up again, and let everybody know that Joanna has some of the NICEST, largest, healthiest hatchlings out there! I just received a few girls from her and I am beyond impressed.

I think this deserves a morning bump! And I have to agree with Jessicat Joanna's snake are wonderful I just got one on tuesday and he is a beauty!
 
If this is still running next month I would love to purchase some tickets. I know what it is like to fall on hard times!
 
Guess what!! I have good news!! I was offered a job today!!
I don't start until 11/11 though so after pm'ing with Joanna - since she was the person who donated these wonderful snakes - we are going to leave the raffle up for at least another week. I still have not received unemployment and it will be weeks (probably close to another month) before I will receive my first paycheck with the new job.

I think we will base how long the raffle will stay up on how interested people are in it. I know there were quite a few waiting until payday or early November so it will be up for at least a little while longer.

Again - I thank everyone for the kindness and generosity!!

It's been more than two months! Seems like forever to me- I can't even imagine how terrifying it was for Katie.
 
I was laid off a year and a half ago. I decided to go to college and get my associates degree in business management. It totally sucks! I have always worked two jobs at a time and to not be able to get one......well lets just say it hasn't done a whole lot for my self esteem. :( I'm highly trained and have years of administrative experience.

I have known entirely too many people now who have gone through this. I never thought it would happen to me and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.
The wonderful people here literally saved my life last month and the kindness shown thus far this month will help me get through this one too.
 
Yay Katie! Wonderful news! I know payday won't be for a while, but at least the end is in sight!
