Woma Python: Spring time photo shoot!

Great photo's of a gorgeous animal! How is it's character?
Thank you very much!

His character is awesome! He sometimes gets excited during feeding time (or if he thinks it's feeding time), but he gives it away immediately if he is by coming right out from under his hide and up towards the lid of his enclosure. So if he is acting excited, I'll just grab my garden gloves and grab my hook to lift him out. Once he's out, I am perfectly fine to remove the gloves. Most of the time, though, he's not excited by me going into his enclosure.

And when I have him out, he's perfect. Never makes me concerned with his attitude. He's also one of, if not the most, content snakes I have to just take out on my lap and watch TV with. I don't even need to grasp him to keep him sitting right on my lap.

My only snake who sits still doesn't do it because he's content... it's because he's evil. I literally watched a whole movie with him looking up at me posing to strike the entire time. Granted it's cute because he's young, all this snapping at me will hopefully stop. I made the mistake of getting bitten and it actually hurt and left bleeding teeth marks... he's a Ball Python.

Retics are the most intelligent according to people who own them. I'm not sure how. I guess they tend to "think" more, considering possible consequences of their actions before following through (eg. 'will I get in trouble if I eat this dog?').

That might be a stretch.

i have kept both, definitely more retics, and though they do seem pretty smart, i cant honestly say they seemed smarter than any woma i have had. they both did seem to be "thinking" alot, but this is only an accusation on my part.

Those Womas are the perfect size though. Safe to handle alone but not too small either. Plus they are so easygoing from what everyone says. I can see them getting pretty popular, even if they aren't the next ball python.
