There are many things that my little girl might be het for...lavender, snow (amel and anery), opal, ghost, etc. I have some 2002 snakes from the same breeder that I am breeding this year. It's going to be like Christmas if I hatch out eggs from them!
Awww man! I knew I'd be overrun with amels. Goes to show how small a minority I'm in with my preference of "gray" morphs.
BTW, my amber and Hurley's butter both have the "yellow" on the chin/neck like Kat's amber. In some way (I'm not sure why, but) it's interesting that it's separate from the rest of the yellow on them.
Since beauty is so objective, I wasn't too surprised when I saw several snakes here that I'd put below some of the "ugliest" (many of which I thought were gorgeous).
I wonder whether there is a difference between "prettiest" and "the one I like best?"
I thought you might like to see some amels...LOL
I was going to post pics of my Ghost and my Anery but I don't have photos that do them justice.
I have to say, though, that my ghost is also near the top of my list.
what the heck here they are anyway
Kat: I didn't even post my "favorite" I posted some that I think look great but my favorite of all my snakes has to be my female Cream. I just didn't post her pic because I figured everyone was tired of seeing her.
You BET I would duck.
Yes, that is the motley I was refering to and, my 2 cents, I like the name Windy, sounds cool.
Just so you don't feel so alone with having all these wonderful Amels posted, here are a couple of my favorite GREY morphs.
Here's my girl, Rio, another greyish (and kinda yellowy ) corn, I think she's my prettiest. I think she's in shed tho because of her unusually blue eyes, I just got her last tuesday so I am excited to see what she looks like AFTER she sheds!
not enough snake, a little too much hand in this pic...
Dianne
I think Jingles is one of the...........No the prettiest corn I have ever seen with the exception of Richies stripped butter that I saw on one of the other threads.
I love her too. She actually ties for first place with Snickers but I didn't want to give poor Serp a heart attack right off the bat with putting in an Amel. LOL
One day, when I was super cleaning all the containers, I had put her back into hers and apparently didn't latch the top on one side and when I came back to put her away she was gone. I looked EVERYWHERE and couldn't find her and this was in my kitchen so she could have gone anywhere. I even moved my fridge and stove. I was so bummed I moped for two days. I came home from work on the third day and my husband nonchalantly says to me, "oh I found a snake on the that table and put it in the container over there." The table I used to work on had a good sized plant on it, apparently she has gone into the plant and had stayed there and then came out looking for food and he happened to e in the kitchen at the time. I was so relieved and I am much more meticulous when I do the serious container cleaning that I latch both sides of them.
Anyway, long story but happy ending.
