Your opion on snake colors

Okeetees with really thick borders
Sunkissed
anything with zig-zags and/or aztec pattern
that sunkissed/lavender that Rich produced is up there, too!

Hands down this is my favorite girl:

. . . and she's only two years old!

I also like the charcoals, lavenders, and stripes.

I have decided that I can't decide. I will just have to get at least one of each, maybe then I can pick out a favorite, but I doubt it. :D

At this point I'd have to say Rich Z's Lavender Bloodred. But then, I'm sure he's got something he hasn't told us about that I'll like even better. I have good taste; just wish I had the money to indulge it.

Sunglows, Sunglow Motley's, Amel Bloodreds, Amel Stripe's and of course Okeetee's...something with a deep orange contrast.

I like a rainbow of fruit flavors -- Blizzard (white), Ghost (gray), Amber or Butter (yellow), Sunkissed (orange), Hypo (red), Reverse Okeetee (red/yellow/orange), and a very nice Abbotts Okeetee (red/yellow/orange/black). And racing stripes are a bonus.

I have mixed feelings on a few of the popular morphs such as the Lavender. The Lavender Hypos remind me of an artist's paintbrush jar. The water inside is an ugly pinkish-brownish-purplish muck. It's the color of vomit. (I'm not going to be outlawed for that statement, am I?) Although the normal Lavenders and the Opals are very nice!

You must be thinking of the lavender version of Serp's vomitmels! And as as artist, I like the murky, not-quite-a-colour-found-in-nature mix you get when you clean your brushes! LOL

You're entitled to your opinion, but to say this guy looks mucky, or like vomit, seems inaccurate. If it were up to me, I'd outlaw you for your statement. ;)

I didn't mean YOUR Lavender Hypo. Just everyone else's. =)

(How about...the color of fried bologna?)

Chris

I agree. I like bold and patterned. The hypo lav's just seem washed out some reason (could be my computer, might be "you have to see it in person" kinda snakes).

Since I only have 1 corn snake which is an okeetee, I am going to have to say okeetee. I like the lavender also. Wouldn't mind getting one of those some day. :)

It's more about the color for me. The color of...well...fried bologna.

And I bet you are right. I bet it's one of those animals that looks blech in photos, but is a super stunning beauty in person! (The Lavender BPs are like that too. Crazy, huh? It must be a Lavender thing.)

Chris

Blizzards are Sean's favorite
Amel for Michelle (especially since that was her very first!)
Candy Canes are Mandy's favorite (red AND orange ones)
Clayton Changes his mind every day :shrugs:
"Classics" are dad's favorite
Anything with Caramel mix is mom's!

Fried bologna?! You've gone too far this time!

But seriously, in my opinion, my hypo-lavs look very nice in photos. BUT, there really is much more to their look than the camera picks up. They have a powdered look to their scales that the camera seems to see right through. The colors aren't 100% true either.

And even if you still don't like hypo-lavs, that's ok. How seriously can I take the opinion of someone who wants their corns to look like garter snakes! :grin01: ;)

LMAO Garter snakes! =)

And I am sure the Lavender Hypo looks very nice in person. The Lavender Albino BP looks either like a normal Albino or like some kind of light-brownish Albino mess in photos. In person it's a VERY different story. I think the subtle Lavender hues are difficult to pick up in photographs. It's that simple.

(Or maybe you took the photo right after it vomited from eating fried bologna with a paintwater chaser. Who knows?)

Chris =)

Well. . . I like Miamis and Reverse Okeetees the best. (Lavenders are pritty too :) ) And Candice would bite me if i didn't mintion snows lol.
