My female corn is refusing too eat. I took all the precautions, made a bed, gave her a rock, heating light, water dish and I mist her regularly. But all she dose is wonder the perimeter of her cage patting down the bedding and she's jumpy and quick or loud movement just walking by her cage freaks her out. And finally she likes to 'knock' on the glass and hit the mesh screen lid~ some one please help it would be greatly appreciated
Hi Ken. How are you and Loopy doing? I haven't seen an update on him lately. He's dear to our hearts around here!
Hi, chris68 was just wondering if you have any tequila sunrise females for sale? Thanks.
Hi guys. I am new on here and have just got my first corn snake. Just a question ? He has fed fine and seems to hide behind a fake wall at the back of the tank. He was out in the early hours this morning but soon as sun is up back he went. I know they do this as its in their natural but I want to handle him to keep him tame. Would it be wrong after 48 hours he has fed to get him out to handle him or should I leave him to settle in for a few more days. Thoughts guys ? Cheers Asher
Jim
Just wanted to let you know that Medusa is doing great! I have moved her up to fuzzie mice which she handled with no problem and she is in a10 gallon tank now which she loves. She has quite the personality and is an avid explorer. I am in love with her!!!!

My son's young corn snake has escaped. We've left out bottle traps and have floured the floor but no sign of him for 3 days. I'm concerned because our house is v old and large with lots of gaps into the walls and floors. And it's v cold at the moment, about 10C. We've kept the heating on in his open tank and this room is warmish too, but I'm pretty sure he's not here. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks.
It is great to have this source of information, thank you jagodzinski for your post. We are monitoring the mouse and snake closely, we take the mouse out at night. They both seem to coexist very well. We are very conscious of the threat the mouse could be.
I'm also new to snakes. My corn snake acts like he is scared of his food,he curled up and refuse it. I've had him 2 weeks what am I doing wrong?
Ps I hope I can find this post again with the answer.
