  • Hah! *slaps forehead!* Ok, a NEONATE...how's that? ;)
You should try to come next August for Daytona! Or do you plan on staying indefinitely? That would be awesome!
Yeah I love the Animal Medicine Cards and books and Sacred Path also..My animal medicine cards/prayers have gotten me through alot of difficult life stuff...Everytime I see an animal cross my path I go read them to see what messages they are sending me.. Have you read Animal speak by Ted Andrews ? Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks, Oren...I think I do need take a break. Sometimes one needs to step off, right? Hope all is well in your corner of the planet. :)
Hmmmmm... I don't know if she's got a long tongue... looks "typical" to me.

I did, however, notice how completely different her eating style is from my corns. I know they'e all "rat snakes", but I think the way rat snakes eat is AMAZING. LOL.

Maybe he's just doing the "tongue thing" to go along with his crossed eyes? :)
You friended me before I could friend you...I still like you very much. Way to be cool, Oren!
Oren... I took some pics of my LTR today (nice and overcast... about 88 degrees outside - PERFECT). Hope you like them!
Oh... I do remember that you said Shalgon is very tame. GOOD for you. I assume that his prolapse has completely healed and that he's not showing any ill effects of that trauma. That latest pic I saw... well, I AM biased towards LTR's! :)
LOL. Yeah... I ALMOST forget to wash my hands when feeding the snakeys... but my "survival instinct" kicks in just in time to save me from those kinds of bites. One of my more "stupid" bites ocurred while feeding my lovely Florida King. She's got one of those "tree" decorations that has a large hole in the bottom AND a hole up top where she can climb through the center of the tree and be at the top of the tree. Well, I FORGOT that... and tried to feed her at the bottom of the tree. Needless to say, as I dangled the mouse trying to get her attention near the base, my hand, holding the tongs, holding the mouse blocked my view of the treetop. In a flash BANG, she had latched onto my hand between my thumb and forefinger. OUCH! LOL. I'll never EVER forget her feeding response in my (or her) lifetime!

As for the LTR, when it gets cooler than 95 degrees, I'm gonna spend more time with her outside. Hopefully, this will get her more calmed down and amenable to being held. I might have to break out the wussy gloves for the initial sessions, but will get rid of them soon enough.

BTW, thanks for asking! I appreciate the fact that you remember!

And... No valium in the water dishes here! OBVIOUSLY! :)
Hey, Oren! My LTR (Luna) is doing GREAT! She lost a little bit of the very tip of her tail - bad shed that I didn't notice... hardly noticeable at all. She HAS NOT calmed down one iota. Still as mean as ever. LOL. When I grab her, she's usually okay. But when she realizes that she's out of her tank and all - WATCH OUT! I am tempted to feed her in her enclosure, but that would mean that I hold her even less than I do now (about 3x a week). Every once in a while she still musks (phew!) but not every time anymore.

She's grown quite a bit too... to the point where bites might start hurting!
    :uhoh:  :eek1: :crying:

I'm not ever gonna give up on her, though. She's my very own LTR!!!
    Kokopelli-
I replied in the thread, but you deserve to see it here as well...

I apologize for my confusion in your thread with the pyro X alterna hybrids. I was confused, and didn't realize it until after reading your most recent reply. I went back, re-read what you typed, and clarified it for myself.

Again...I apologize for my own coinfusion. Please read my full reply in your thread...
I live at the center of Israel so I am safe, and so is my family. Around three years ago however I was a tank's main gunner had enough "combat time" to last me for this life time.
I hope it all ends soon, with as little civilian casualties as possible.
Hey man, I've been watching coverage of what's been going on over there for the last 2 or 3 days.
You can tell me it's none of my business, but it's not in my nature to not care.
Are you O.K.? Are you safe? Is your family O.K.?
    hello there mate!
I am glad to say that he has made a full recovery. His stitches are suppose to come off within a month's time.
He also went through a shed cycle and his blazing white came back with all it's glory.
Thanks for the concern Fred :)
All is just peachy thank heavens
Hi, Oren! I haven't heard about your LTR recently... Just wanted to know how he's doing! Hope he's well... You too!

    Fred
