Hooo-ahh! Now that we have a real backyard with a real fence and some real grass and some real room, the wife is allowing me to get a real dog!! In fact she's just as excited about it as I am. She made the contacts, she made the deposit. I get to take the road trip in September to pick out my new Vizsla pup.

The litter was born on July 30th. First pic is after being born. Second pic is just yesterday at a week and a half old. There's 6 males and I get 3rd pick of the litter. I followed up with pics of mom and dad as well.

Thanks for looking,
D80

Just got another email today from the breeder!! Here's part of what she had to say:
Pups have eyes open all the way now and are surprisingly walking around really good. They are coming off the blanket to potty elsewhere…..yea!!!!! They are trying to play with each other, but not very good at it yet.

Amazing the difference in a week!

Enjoy!

Oooooh! They're soooo cute! I want to snuggle them and feel their sharp little pointy teeth!

They're ADORABLE!!!

I want this one... "and I will call him George. I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him." LOL!

I don't see how you could lose with any of these, Brent!

I love the first pic in your second post...with the dog under the puppy pile with his mouth open.

And in the second pic I love the two near the bottom right with their noses together.

My oldest son (16) already picked out the one in the back of the second picture. Why? I asked. "It looks like it's already spotted something and is pointing." was his matter-of-fact reply. ;)

Makes sense seeing as how all the rest (except the hog piled one!) are all distracted by the floofy poodle!

That's actually a great way to pick out a dog. They are all so cute, it would be damn near impossible to say no to any, but there will surely be one that sticks out to you. Their tales look nice too, it's surprising that they healed that well so far, you wouldn't even notice they were docked.
That's kind of how I picked out Ciana. I went for the one that was engaging the children, and other people in the family, as opposed to the ones that seemed to be focused mostly on each other.
The mother is gorgeous, their fawn color is so rich. And with their peach noses, they just look like eternal puppies.

That looks like my floofy poodle!
Gorgeous pups Brent, they are like little kidney beans in that first picture!
Can't wait to see pics from when you bring him/her home..

Brent, be careful with that breeder, he obviously does not know what a vizsla is, that last pic has some kind of poodle or another, do not trust the breeder, you may actually be getting a vizsladoodle. :grabbit:

Just kidding of course, they are looking great. Cannot wait to see a pic of him holding a duck, dove, goose, rabbit, pheasant, or deer in his mouth.
