2009 Yahoo - Pro Football Pickem - Contest - Prizes

I'm so excited for the NFL season! :D I made my picks a few weeks ago, so i've been more than ready. :dancer:

I've been watching a lot of pre-season games lately for my own sanity. I love the NFL, and this only adds to my excitement. THANKS AGAIN VINNY!!!

I don't think the pre-season gives much away, but they do have the starters play the first quarter, so it does give some foresight. The Packers looked good in a couple of games I watched, and Rodgers is flying slightly under the radar. I think the NFC north is looking more and more stacked with every game I watch, and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Bears, Packers, or Vikings go to the super bowl. I am having much difficulty picking the CHI vs GB game (well, I already picked, but I have some time to change it if I see fit).

Lets not forget he did this last year for us to, except for the prizes.

Thats true. The lions looked fairly good in the pre-season last year but in the regular season they didn't win one single game..
I think it shows potential though. Certain rookies get more minutes in the pre-season, so it helps gauge the quality players new to the team. I really only watch the first half, as the second usually has players that won't play very much in the regular season.

Kickoff at 8pm!!!. I'm taking the Titans, even though I think the Steelers will repeat as Super Bowl champions. BTW, when you fill out your wins make sure you check the bottom of the page to answer the "tiebreaker" questions. Otherwise I don't think it will count as completed.

Danny, you're in the WRONG part of Ohio for that sort of sentiment... We're allowed to say that here, as long as it is sandwiched with GO BUCKS!! :)

LOL... ROFLOL! I just looked over your picks with a fine-toothed comb, Brent. Besides the OBVIOUS "Da-Bears" pics, there are a couple I just can't imagine you'd pick for real... Buffalo at NE for one. Wow... REALLY? Or are you just foolin'? :)

so I just looked at everyones picks, and it seems he was pulling some legs :roflmao:

This is a tough game. I picked Tennessee so I'm hoping Pittsburgh coughs it up soon. Nothing more nerve racking than OT for sure!.
