Great week everybody, and kudos for hanging on to the #1 spot Fred!...I'm happy, I moved up to #23 lol :)!. I tried swapping my St.Louis and Philadelphia picks over at 12:30 this afternoon, but I must have been too late (sigh). Still happy with the wins I got though, and I'm glad Tennessee and Miami won..Those are games I was counting on to help me out!.

I think I lost it... Michael gained 3 on me and he was only 2 back... I think.
Gonna be several of people tied for 2nd... I THINK - including myself. Some of these games just went WILD on me...

WHICH goes to show that you're never out, until you count yourself out. LOL. :)

Still plenty of games to make up some ground... OR lose it! :p
 
I'm SO glad Vince Young played decent! I just saw stats, not the actual game, so correct me if I'm wrong. It's not normally pretty when he's under center, but the guy is a winner. He deserved the chance to start again! I thought he would be rusty, so I switched my pick to Jax this morning...but that's a whole different story! :)

I actually had Tennessee picked this morning when I did the "Weekly Reminder". But I switched when I remembered how many times the Titans have let me down this year... and LO AND BEHOLD... look what happens! If I only had WON that game, I think I'd be sharing 1st place still. BUT, I think I've slipped a game behind Michael and am tied with several others. :( Oh, well! I knew that holding onto #1 would be impossible and difficult at best!

I believe we're now tied Fred, so that would make a four person tie for 1st. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but you had a 2 game lead, and I got 2 more games correct than you, so we would now be in a tie.

My only disappointment this week was Philly, who I really should have picked. They have been very back and forth this year, but the Giants just seem so ravaged on D.

I had Jacksonville until last night, but I came to my senses and picked Tennessee. It's nice to see Vince get a chance, and although he may not be the future of the franchise, I still feel that there is a lot to his story that has yet to be written. He played well today, and with that type of production out of the backfield, I think they can legitimately come close to a .500 record. The only game that will be really hard to win will be vs IND, but the rest of the scheduled teams are "beatable".

LOL! You both are right and I'm wrong! My apologies. :) I was SOOOOOOO disappointed in what happened today, that I thought I was at 6 wins instead of 7. LOL. Well, it is good to share top seat with such an "august" group of individuals (blueapplepaste, dwyn127, Michael823)! I look forward to next week (since EVERYONE picked NO). :)

I'm pretty PEEVED at AZ this week. I sincerely think that they "looked past" Carolina. They didn't look ready to play at all. OR, Carolina just was better prepared.

It is kewl that my wife and 7 girls from our facility were able to be at the game and see Kurt and his wife after the game. I'm sure it would have been better after a win, but they were still stoked none-the-less. This morning when my boss asked if my wife could chaperon the girls, I HAD hoped that I could go instead! :p

Anyway, Broncos were a bust today, but the 'pokes showed up and played good ball (I know, it was against the Seahawks, but I'll take ANY wins). Next week its against the Eagles. Hope they show up to play!

How about the winning TD against the 49ers coming from Joseph Addai?? What an interesting game!

Well, tomorrow should be fun. I expect a good game... but NO should win against the Falcons.

I didn't see the game, but his stats looked good. I've always thought, and still do think, that Vince Young could mature into a solid QB and with a solid ensemble around him definitely lead a team to the SB. He is really athletic and has the potential to really be a big threat as a passer and a runner, similar to Michael Vick back when he was with Atlanta.

Hopefully all his drama and woes from last year are behind him and he can get his career back on track.
 
well I moved from 26th to 21st (although tied with a bunch of people). But the better news is I went from 11 points away from first, to 9 points away from first.
