crazy hybrid

Serious breeders or hybridizers must have higher standards of selection or simply put, they will not create something better than their competitors who are trying to do the same.

Snakes eat other snakes? Yes? There you have your culling machine my friend. Some use snakes to cull fancy mice. Yes, breeders of fancy mice actually sell their inferior mice for use as snake food. Culling is a term most serious hybridizers and even line-breeders understand and use.

I only have a male cornduran and the guy that made the cross only has 2 males. the grayband cross is the only one I have from that line I bought her for 75 bucks a few years ago. My male cornduran wont touch her I'm going to try to artificial inseminat her next year with his sperm.

PS, please don't respond to you know who so they know they are not welcomed here. I refuse to respond to them on any thread. Others should do the same on the forum spread the word please.

OK guys this is the female I was talking about she is a 50/50 corn X gray band second gen cross. I can tell she is not a pure gray band but there are a lot of people that would think she is a pure grayband and might cross her back to a grayband. I wish my cornduran would mate with her I think I'm going to try artificial insemination next year between her and my cornduran

I showed someone that snake just the other day saying many folks would think it is an authentic Gray-Banded king and breed it. I could instantly tell it isn't a gray-band just from the irises alone. Lampropeltis meristics ain't a weak point of mine.

My goal is to make some thing you just wont see in a purebreed. Crazy colors and patterns. I like to get a imperal publan X corn corn and cross it to my second gen female hypo publan X corn. I also llike to see what a second gen imperal publan crossed to a stripe corn second gen would look like being the strip from the imperal publan comes from a cal king and is different than the strip gene from a corn. I like to breed a strip cal to a strip corn then breed the striped babies back to eachother and see what afect does the corn stripe mutation has on the strip of a cal king.

Vinman you have some dreams man, wow. I for one would have been skeptical as to if thhe grey band was pure or not but none the less its a beautiful animal and is rather similar to many I have seen just with a lot more black color in the bands. I would love to have the ability to play with all the hybrids you do. Heck I just want half the snakes you have!!! I'll be watching you my friend, watching closely.

The truth is I bought all of them had no luck breeding hybrid to hybrid. When I did have good eggs the heat in my apt killed off the eggs. I have only one good clutch . my corduran back to a corn. I normaly dont do this but I wanted to get a female to breed back to daddy (I hope to get some good eggs next yeay . I did not put effort into the hybrids this year . My only 2 clutches came out uinfertial this year. Corduran X 3/4 corn 1/4 MBK. and a Jungle corn crossed to a albino 3/4 yellow rat 1/4 speckled king

I will highly recommend that a few certain members put each other on "Ignore". Any more of the argumentative, insulting banter and all parties involved will be issued infractions at the very least.

I would like to see that yellow rat cross speck. I'm a big fan of speckles and if I could ever find a suitable mate for my male would breed them in a heart beat.

they are imperial pueblacorns, it took a few generations to see the crazy full stripes all the way round.
its a hard one to sort out as there are so many crazy patterns that pop up in the earlly stages.
