David, we're having a bit of fun with you, but I think the bottom line is that this forum is very passionate about herps...much more so than the ego of a teenager. The thing is, you try to come across as "the master" and it's insulting to those that actually ARE masters in this field. You have way more experience than I have, and I think it's truly awesome that you are able to have all these snakes in your home. My mom let me have wild critters but we had to keep them in the milk box, much to the chagrin of our milk man.
I'm guessing here that you're trying to find your niche in this field. If you're truly the outcast at school that you say you are, then it's perfectly understandable why you would feel the need to commune with nature more than with humans. High School is a horrid, miserable place for many many people. I'd rather give my kidneys than go through HS again.
You have a lot to learn but you're off to a good start. If you want to fit in here, or anywhere, rather than bullying your way to the front of the line, try blending in. Be "quick to listen and slow to speak." I know that's a biblical reference, and no offence is meant to anyone, but I think it's also good secular advice.
I really do wish you the best of luck, and I hope and actually bet that in 20 years or so, we'll be reading about you in National Geographic and other mags about new species and new discoveries made in the herp world. Take your time. With your passion, I'm sure you'll get there.
