Experienced snake oweners read this !

Okay so the plan is leave her In Her cage alone for a week and then offer her a boiled pinky leave it over night and if she does not eat then what ? Wait another week and feed live or try sooner and when should I be able to start handling her again?

as long as there's holes yes it's fine, snakes don't require huge amounts of oxygen lile dogs and cats do. a few small holes into the top should do fine, and if you go back and read you'll see that chip recommended trying to feed In a week if refused wait 3-4 more days and try again.

best wishes with this little Guy, and none of this was your fault.. it was the petsmart associate that sold you the snake and gave you such HORRIBLE advice..

please don't best yourself up!

Wish my baby girl clementine good luck, thanks to everyone ill probably update in a week if she eats or not

Just going to agree with what everyone said and add one small thing....
Clementine is beautiful! I hope she makes it and does well for you, she is a real nice looking animal.

I'm sorry I have a question you've had her a week force fed three times, not feeding her this week, but you also said if she doesn't eat now it will be three weeks since she ate.
At any rate don't force feed her again, as others have mentioned it is sure disaster. I'm sorry you were given bad advice at pet store.

Okay guys when you said to leave her alone for a week like seven days or like five because tomorrow will be five days is that to early to try to feed her and what method do you think I should start off with the first attempt at feeding?

I would wash a thawed pink in hot water, with soap, and put it in a deli cup with with the snake overnight. In the morning, hopefully there is only a snake with a lump. My second attempt (5 days later) would be braining or pouring scalding water over the pinkie and doing the same. Attempt 3 would be a live newborn pink. Take care to stress the baby as little as possible, the sooner she feels confident, the sooner she will decide to put her mouth on food. Good luck!

So do you think I should try and feed her tomorrow , which would be day five or Sunday which would be day seven since my last attempt at feeding

If she's being active, try her tonight. Get it dark and quiet in her room overnight. Good luck!

I just put clementine in a deli cup inside her small shoe box with a ivory soap washed pinky and am praying for the best, I hope I can wake up in the morning to my baby girl alone In the cup with a lump In her belly, wish her luck !

That stinks.

I would wait at LEAST 3. My criteria for offering food has a lot to do with how much the snake is hunting. Did you wash this pink? Pour boiling water over it? If not, try some of those methods next time.

How did you force feed the heads? It isn't easy getting a pink into a baby, it usually takes something to prod it. If the gullet was cut or got an abrasion it will not eat until that heals.
