Oh! Shawshank is definetly up there for me! Plus I only live an hour from the Mansfield Reformatory(where it was filmed) and I've had the opportunity to tour it. They still have some of the set props that were left there after filming since the prison was supposed to be demolished afterwards. Pretty neat!

I, personally, am extremely particular about films I watch, mainly because I don't the money or interest to rent alot of them, but films that I do love I watch over, and over and over. Here is a list of movies I think that everyone should watch:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Tupac Resurrection

The Harry Potter movies (I'm more a fan of the books, but still, I love the movies)

Life

Through the Fire (documentary about high school point guard Sebastian Telfair)

Fresh

Green Street Hooligans

Pursuit of Happyness

Paid in Full

New Jersey Drive

Antwan Fisher

Menace 2 Society

Gridlock'd

Gang Related

Poetic Justice

Thug Angel (similar to Tupac Resurrection, but more of a documentary)

There are probably quite a few I'm forgetting, but those are the main one's.
