SO! if you were me would you think your girl is done with the male, we put her in his tank and she keeps "running" away from him, rattling her tail she never ever does that, and trying to stay up on the ledge of the tank to stay away from him..

what would you think??!

I'd Say she was done....the tail rattling is a dead give away....She's showing no interest at all??? then yeah....did they hook-up at all??

Honestly....I can't say for sure....But ya know...it only takes 1 time! LOL I suppose it happens with corns as well. I'd say with the way she's NOT responding to him..avoiding him & all....I'd say....set back...and enjoy the ride...try not to eat to much for the next several weeks....it's a definite roller-coaster ride. I'd try again next week....at least 3 days in between attempts.

I've learned that you can't force an unwilling snake to breed.
If she isn't interested, give her a few days. Maybe she'll change her mind... maybe she is done breeding for the year. (Pretty much what Rich said)

Finally broke down,.....i have sinned. On my 7th beer this evening. Rishi( ii think) suggested 10...so i'm almost there!! LOL wow...it's harder to do the older you get. Zena is Pounding her f/t meals. I wonder if she's not planning a 2nd surprise for me???

Weeelllll she is just of the scalely variety. I am preparing for my next clutch. Ginny double clutched last year so I am just assuming that she will again.

LOL...the last comment did not include ALL women...Just the ones i've personally encountered. So no offense....gosh...beer is fun....sorta....Well,Honestly....i kinda hope she does double clutch for me...as long as she can do it without compromising her health!

Not yet...Just feeding her...it's almost like i cant feed her enough...although tempted...i haven't gone terribly over board. 2 "Small" mice every 4-5 days seems to be to her liking. I'll get a weight of a "Small" mouse tomorrow.

The weight avg. is about 12 grams each...so she's eating 24 grams avg. every 4 days.
