Yes...Almost half-way...i wonder if i candle the eggs tonight..if i would beable to see any growth in terms of the "fetus" growing in the eggs?

Clearly we've gone over 1000 post by now...so...i've posted a simple autobiography of the first half of my life..LOL..in the new members intros section...if you care to take a look. if not...hey i understand that! :) Gone to Candle the eggs...and see if i cant see More than just veins.(without moving the eggs.!!!)

I took a look.....Seems there is a small mass appearing with the veins...but i just cant get a clear enough view to say 1 way or the other. No movement that i could see.....But otherwise they appear healthy.
 
Good. That is what you should see. A lot of times you have to watch them for a minute or two and look at each and every egg. Since you never know which one is awake and wiggling. The movement is very small right now but the movements in a couple weeks will be hard to miss.
 
I was wondering since im incubating at 82 degrees instead of 84-85 degrees..if the developement of the fetus's is slowed. it says in kathys book a difference of 1 degree could speed up hatching by a week or more on avg. I've also read that corns incubated at the lower temps..take longer..but when they hatch they are generally Bigger and healthier with a much nicer dispostion??? any thoughts?
 
Wow! I'm newish 2 the site & stumbled across this thread whilst browsing, as I hav everyday since I joined lol. I just sat down & read every single post! From page 1- page 54!!! It was like reading a gripping book, i literally cud not tear my eyes away! 8-o I'm totally psyched 2 c the bubbas!! Congratulations on ur 1st clutch! I hope 1 day 2 breed myself but probably not with my current bubba. She's my 1st (not really sure she is she tbh but I prefer th@ 2 'it'). I think zina is beautiful! I just recently started getting interested in ghost & platinum morphs. I never really thought grey cud b a beautiful colour. But ur baby certainly shows th@ it can b stunning!...if it's in cornsnake form lol. I'll be sticking with this thread 2 c eat happens nxt & thanku 4 posting. Good job dude! :)

Thanks for your comments & compliments! Zena Is an Ultramel Charcoal ph anery. Someday, perhaps we'll make Platinums and Ghosts. I'm just sorry you had to read all 54 pages! LOL This thread has certainly taken on a life all it's own. and we're only half way to the expected hatch date! LOL But like i've said before....if it happens here at corn creations...you guys will hear it first hand....the people of this forum are almost like family. people tearing up when zena passed her last egg...wow...when i read that..Heck I almost starting crying...my chin definitely quivered. and my eyes watered up real good....So yeah...this thread is My life...Zena..and holmes..and all the others...are my life...work is just something i do when i cant be with my kids.
 
I'm new 2 morphs & things so I'm sorry if I got a lil confused on wat kinda snake zena is...my bad :-/ In any case she sure is beautiful. U r gonna hav sum gorgeous babies mixing her & Holmes 2getha, wow!
Oh & btw every 54 pages was a joy 2 read.
My condolences on the clutch of gummy snake sugar almond eggs. I'm sure Emma enjoyed them tho, & there's always next yr ;)
 
LOL...yeah...was just passing the time while the eggs are incubating....kind of a mock breeding/laying/hatching. oh well...gives me a whole yr. to think of something better.
