First hook-ups for me!!

Just little Movements...but "It" Definitely Moved!!!..I held the light against the egg...and supported it on the edge of the egg container...so I know the light itself wasn't moving.

I've already been yelled at!! LOL But yes..Probably so!! But not too much...learned my lesson from trying to watch Zena Actually lay...I think I played a part in the drawn out laying process...I feel crappy about that still. Live & learn I guess. Next year, once I notice the females laying..I'll lock the door..and give the key to the significant other....and tell her not to give it back till the next day!! LOL (Of course..it takes nothing to remove hinges from a door!! LOL:dgrin:)

well...hmmm....(Scratching head)...yeah...But thats why they make Chainsaws!!! HAHA hehe HO hO He he Ha ha!!

Yeah,
It's Really cool to see. My only question now is:
If I were hatching "Darker Morphs" would they be more visible through the eggs?? I'm expecting some blizzard's ..and you can't really see a "Form"...but you can see that Something is moving in there?? I Guess what i'm getting at is..could a person tell if it's a blizzard as opposed to a charcoal before it hatchs?? based on the Visibility of the fetus growing inside?

I think a chainsaw would stress out the laying females more than you poking your nose in all the time XD... even the non-laying females of the house!

Hmm....True..A chainsaw Is a bit excessive.....Hmmm...well the door is THAT tough! hehehe...one well placed kick should do... :)

You know I was wondering the same thing. Last time I started candling towards the end and I couldn't tell the difference between the snows and the other but this time I see what you are talking about. Some of them are very obvious where the baby is and then the others you can just see like a shadow in there. So maybe right now but when they start getting a little more to them they don't. :shrugs: I will mark my shadow mover eggs you should do the same and we will test it.

Not a bad Idea. It's worth a shot. I was told that "Color" is one of the last things to develope. So this could be a wild-goose chase...but what else are we gonna do at this point? LOL

Thank you For your kind words! And Apparently,Anticipation isn't the only thing growing "round here at Corn Creations!! Zena the Momma, Is back up to 220Grams And Hunting for more...Fed her on sunday (Medium mouse about 15 grams avg.) Tonight She all but tryed to Eat my hand when i was Giving Fresh water & a poo check. so I offered her another mouse..(No lump from the previous meal). are we still in the double-clutch window?? to be honest with you....It scares the heck outta me to think she could double-clutch.

You know, I thought about putting up a thread on the double clutch window question. Cause I just don't know but I know Ginny just refused her first normal meal she did eat a couple fuzzies. So I stuck a nesting box in there with her and she hasn't left it so I think she is getting ready to shed. So hopefully Zena window has closed. We can hope.

I don't blame you. I did get my eggs marked for you. I am not counting out my amels out though because my only amel out of his pair last year hatched looking like a peachy snow. But it gave me a really good excuse to sit there and look at moving babies.
