Oh man Rich im sorry to hear about this. When you see those little noses poking out though its going to make you smile like nothing else.
 
That is sad, but somehow think the eggs were not the whole story. Not as in Rich did anything wrong, but she was not getting the attention she felt she needed. Rich in my many years I can tell you if your gut tells you this is better for you then it is. It will work out just take your time, don't make any quick decisions and rely on your friends to help you through this.
 
susang, i cannot deny that less time was being spent with her. So this split is 50/50. I could have done more..she couuld have done more. But,it's done..so..lets talk snakes...shall we?
 
as of last night, they looked good and healthy. No pippies. Ill check them tonight at around 6:00pm..if they've pipped yyou be the first to know.

Did you tell them what Auntie Katherine said? I can not have my babies beat your babies and I think mine are very very close considering when I checked on them last night you could literally see the eggs bouncing. The little hash marks that I put on top of the eggs yeah on one of them the egg is not straight up anymore. lol
 
no pippiees....but the upper most portion of the exposed egg i way thin..i can see a diff. In the tops vs sides....maybe tomorow?

day 62? I think....with everything going on i've lost track. Nanci,you got pippies? I'll be checking on them at around 6:00pm...i think mine will be closer to 65-68 days.
 
I am incubating at 79-82. The eggs, for the last several days, have looked "weird" and had soft spots.

Sorry to butt into the conversation, but I've just spent the last almost three hours reading 88 pages of this thread. It was the best novel I've read in ages!

Thank you to everyone in this thread sharing the experience of waiting for us newbies that have a looong way to go!
