Whereas it's acceptable for a 15 year old to laugh at an adult?

Welcome to Double-standard World.

As was once told to me by an Abnormal Psychology professor, "It's okay to laugh at 'em. You're laughing at the behavior, not the person."

retards,
jazz

You know that feeling where you just really want to scream and say every curse word that you can think of, but you feel it's not worth it,

Wow, such a good feeling..

Whenever I feel "a day late and a dollar short", I'll remember this....

.....and then I won't feeeeeeel soooooo baaaaad!!!!!!

I've been humming that song all day long. How very odd that you mention it now. Is there a spycam in my office that I should know about? :uhoh:

BTW, congrats on 4k posts. :D

Somehow, one of Choco's nicknames is Borat. I think because when he's pacing his viv wanting to come out, I say "Chockee, what is wrong? Are you borat?"

I've had the "Everything comes down to poo" song stuck in my head for days...

Would it be o.k. to give my little snakey a wee bit of lettuce? I mean, he/she is healthy and all but I figured it could make the poo a bit more stout and regular. I was just thinking that if I could add some greens to the diet other than just having the same ole mouse dinner all the time, maybe that would cause my new baby to be more responsive to sights and sounds and keep him/her in a good mood. Kind of like a treat. Or even some cheese-stick bites. Don't they need to get more of the 5 food groups? I am thinking it is taking too long for my snake to empty the bowels and this should help speed it up a bit. I don't want it constipated all the time. I think that is why it is always striking at me, cause of a tummy ache. What do you think?

You Google it. :smash:

Actually, 7/20 is also the birthday of my best friend. She'd kick me in the googles if I ever forgot.

The moon landing was shoved down my throat by her as an "easy way to remember". :shrugs:

jazz

Wow. I drive home from work, get a quick bite, and look what happens!

Dale: If there's a message in the "Netiquette" thread for me, can you please just tell me? I'm too tired and lazy to read that thread, cross-reference back to this one, analyze, and process right now. You don't have to, but I'd appreciate it. I don't like lazy, but there it is. If your reference to that thread has little or nothing to do with me, just forget I brought it up. Thanks.

Maybe he wouldn't have had to make that last post if the "Jennifer and Dale Show" could have limited itself to the other threads where it plays, and this thread had stayed on-topic.
Excuse me?
We've been friends for a long time now, Dale, so hopefully we can skip the bull. I think you know what I meant. If my remark can be construed as inflammatory, please report it. Maybe Susan and Mike will agree. To be honest, three days away from this place may be just the thing I need... ;)

And speaking of three days away from this place...

Why does that break the forum rules too

Just abit of harmless fun, god.

Roy, you might be a mod, but I can still joke with you, lol, I dont have to be careful, because I have not broke any rules, any problems with that pm me. ok?

Wouldn't worry about it, (someone) no names mentioned, woke up on the wrong side of the bed :p

No actually, if you read, it properly, I have no attitude, but I wont be told to be (careful) when I have done nothing wrong, Roy has a green name and power to sort out rule breakers, since I never broke a rule, he can not tell me what to do.

I have not broke a rule, I simply told Roy, who I like to call a friend, that I will not be told what to do, not unless I broke a rule, and the rules dont say (don't joke) if I'm blind and they do, please make a quote..

You know George, before you even learned to use the loo I was managing good-sized staffs at a Fortune 500 corporation (and it ain't near the bottom). I had plenty of friends work for me. None of them was ever as disrespectful as you have been here to your alleged friend. You've broken the rule against inflammatory posting. I see one ill-conceived "joke" and a bunch of other defiant, inflammatory comments. I didn't like your joke, George, and I didn't think it was funny. The "god" comment was just plain disrespectful and inflammatory (and name-calling, if you want to get technical) regardless of how YOU feel about it. I STILL consider you a friend, but that can't have any influence on my job as a mod. I don't care who's happy about it, and I don't care who thinks I'm being mean or petty or whatever-- I have to do what I think is right on this one. Take three days off and think about all of this stuff, George. And I don't want to discuss it before the three days are up. I hope we can still be friends after that.

"Antagonism toward a moderator" is an infraction on FaunaClassifieds, this site's sister site. I consider there to be an unwritten rule HERE against antagonising moderators. If you want to question that, talk to Rich about it. I can almost guarantee that he will back me up on this. It's rare that things go so far that this unwritten rule needs to be invoked, so it's probably not much of an issue. It would apply here to PCS, but it's unnecessary. Other rules were broken.

No Rich ran the site himself and things started to get crazy and he asked for help. Many people stood up to take the challenge only 3 made it.
To be clear, I didn't volunteer my name for consideration or offer to help. My name was mentioned by others, and I was in the top 3 when the voting was over. I said ok.

Damn straight, I thought I was one of those wacky people who nominated you. :sidestep:

Umm, I just read Dean's long post, and all that really registered is....
Dean, you're leaving us for 3 days?
You're taking 3 days off?
Yikes, things will go to heck in a handbasket!!

Dean, all 3 moderators are doing a good job, yourself included. I was not interested in becoming one myself because it would mean having to wade through threads like this and seemed like a really thankless task to take on. I didn't like the idea of having moderators but threads like this make it clear why it is so necessary. While some of the comments on this thread may be witty, it is kind of like laughing in Zach's face to take a thread where his concern is about people crossing the line, and using that thread to push/cross that line.
