I got eggs! Cornsnake eggs and I wasn't prepared...not sure if they are going to surv

That heater you got is pretty easy to set up. First you need a thermometer to put inside it. Anyone will do. Mine I got years ago came with a little cheap one. I want to get it to the right temp before you put the eggs in it. It will take some adjusting of the dial you have. You want it to be right about 80C. But anything between 75-83 is ok. I keep mine right at 80.

Once you have it at the right temp you need a sterilite tub or some other brand of plastic shoe box. You set the Hatchrite that you received with the incubator and the eggs up in that. You will want to put a few small holes in the plastic shoe box to ventilation but only a few. I do about 4 very small holes on both of the length sides of the box. Put them up toward the top of the box.

Once you have the plastic shoe box set up you just stick it in the incubator and your good to go. You can fit 2 of these plastic shoe box set ups in each hovabator.

Good luck
