Introducing Adrian! (DUW)

Carinata

Ever Evolving Exotics
So while herping at my dads oneof the neighbors called me over. He had a black ratsnake he told me he was going to kill it unless I removed it from the area. I figured if I released it she would run into humans again and not survive. So I took her home. She is 57in long and a little nippy but hopefully she will do well.

Wow she is beautiful!!!! She has a dont mess with me but still inquisitive look on her face.. I think you guys will get along just well. :) I hope she settles in and feeds well for you..

She is a big beautiful girl! She looks like she won't tolerate any nonsense but is willing to see what happens next. I know I am anthopomorphizing but I think once she realizes life with you involves a steady supply of tasty mice she will settle in well.

I really wish I lived out east.... It is boring out here. So far the only thing I have found was a Collard lizard.. and since I was at college and 15 min until class, I did not have time to climb down the cliff to catch and take pictures of it...lol

I bet she will. I want her to be my beast corn maker!

Well, she is certainly big enough! I don't know if she will mate this year or if she is already gravid (that would be cool if so), but she is likely to give you some nice beasts.

Wow, she's so beautiful!!! I love ratsnakes- I wish I had room!!! I'd have lots...

Nanci! A yellow rat takes up as much room as a corn. Black Rats are up their with King Rats for me! I love them that much!

OMD! I am in LOVE with your new snake! She is absolutely gorgeous! Shines like Hematite, and with a very pretty, expressive face (can a snake face even HAVE expressions?). You be lucky to live in a world that has such creatures in it.

beautiful snake! good luck with everything, hopefully it will make a good pet for you soon.

Oh dear, Aaron. You are clearly not looking in the right places! LOL! Find a fellow herper and get out there in the desert at dawn and dusk!

Nice ratsnake. Pretty girl.

I know... I don't know of any fellow herpers out here... I would take my future brother in laws down to the stream that runs in the canyon to look around, but I don't trust them not to try to kill everything we find... they are destructive little farts. The only other people I know around here that own snakes, do not have any interest in going out looking for them....

David,

Please remember to quarantine her from your other kids for a few months, and since she is wild you should see about worming her. She most likely has nematodes. Talk to Chris, he knows about that stuff.

And (no offense to Becky) but I am no fan of beasts....a nice pure black rat and a nice pure corn snake are way better than any muddy mutt :)
