David...you needed a wild black rat like a hole in the head...but since you have your heart set on this. Remember to keep her in a totally different room from your other herps for at least 6 months and get her to the vet to be checked and probably wormed.
I would never risk my collection by breeding to a wild snake this year personally.
Not to mention...again I ask, do you really think there is a market for black/corn hybrids het for nothing?

I wish sometimes you would take the time to think. It was just last week you were speaking of giving up all your snakes because of troubles in your life...and now only a few days later you have three new additions. Over and over you say you will slow down...but nothing becomes of it.

I am rather tired of this cycle.
 
i don't think i will breed this year Tara. please stop jumping on me. you don't know the circumstances and you never will. If I am such a horrible person and this and that thenm don't read my threads.
 
Hey David, you have four black rats, correct? Are they all as restless as mine is? I have an 09 and she just does not stop cruising around her viv. She hasn't nose rubbed since the first few days after i got her, and she is really a pleasure to handle, but she seems to have an incredible amount of energy, much more than any of my corns. Are yours like that as well?

I only hope that I could live a full nice life on my own, grow to just shy of 6' in the wild...ALL BY MYSELF, and then get grabbed up by a kid with a spare tank lying around and a hard on to show me off to all his friends online!

I just think with your superior knowledge of every snake you find, that you could find a suitable environment to release him into. If he's that big, I'm sure he'd adjust just fine to a new wooded area.
 
Of course, jump on me! I am not breaking any law. In my area every snake anyone finds get chopped. Ii would love to eventually make beast corns but not this season. Please don't respond if you want to start stuff. Alot of people here have done the same as I.
 
Dude I really don't know what you don't understand. If I had found it in the woods I would let it on its way. If I am not mistaken you are supposed to ignore me. I thought you just had a kid. Why don't you scold your kids instead of me?

And I'm not scolding...I'm expressing my opinion...That's why you posted the pictures right? To get people's opinions....? So you are going to get crappy when you get an opinion you don't like?

I don't personally think David needs scolding. You don't agree with keeping wild reptiles? Where do you think all those currently in captivity came from originally?
 
I think your opinion had been heard loud and clear- now kindly back away from the thread before it gets turned into 10 pages of your opinion that can be found on page 1- enough said right?
