Let's see them puppies!

I realize this is an old thread, but I wanted to post a pic of my baby. I had to have her put to sleep 2 yrs ago when she was just shy of 14 yrs, got here when my twin daughters were 3 weeks older then 1 yrs. She and my 3 kids were best of buds her whole life. She's a long haired german shep.

Hey, I can now participate in this thread! Here's Lord Vader, my short-haired chihuahua. He found and ate a shed snake skin the other day (those are not in short supply at my place). Luckily it was from a juvie, but it still caused him a certain degree of G.I. distress... :awcrap:

For a small dog dean it is an awful cute rat! So which snake do you feed it to?
lol

:grin01: I don't own any snakes that could swallow him, but I have a few that could definitely take him out.

Maybe it's the angle of the shot, but it looks like Lord Vader has been the victim of the cruel practice of puppy tipping.

And I thought tipping (I don't want to say "domesticated", given what I've recently read) quadripeds was just a rural midwestern thing. :crazy02:

Have heard of that myself, not being a "country" girl, I can only go by what my aquaintances from da country told me about it when I was in school MANY years ago.

He's very cute, Dean. I finally got pictures of Zeke with no red-eye, so I might as well share them here. He's a goofy dog.

Hah! While the tipping of quadripeds, particularly bovines, is not uncommon in the northeast, I don't engage in the practice. This boy's mass is so low that gravity exerts only a minimal effect on him. And of course, The Force is strong with him. :grin01: Three quarters of his photos look like this. Lacking the "gimbal hand" I employ with my snake shots, I tend to auto-adjust with my camera. :)

Thanks Stephanie. Zeke may be a goofy dog, but he looks pretty majestic in those shots. I'm glad you avoided the red-eye, because his piercing gaze is awesome.

Zeke is stunning! But then I'm a sucker for blue eyes.

I've already posted Kia a couple pages back, but since this thread is bumped, might as well share my newest dog, Chipper!

He's a GSD/Basenji mix that we rescued in November. He was one sick little pup, but with a lot of TLC (and one hell of an expensive vet visit :eek1: ), he's doing much better.
