there's more but you'll have to wait for another time to see my precious babies!

There are lots of adorable kitties already! I love cats, almost as much as I love horses!

Here are my kitties:

Pixie - The Demon cat, worse then the pixies from the HP books! She's a rescue and besides missing the tip of her tail she has a possible liver defect (which is why we haven't been able to fix her, the surgery could kill her according to her Vet.)
Pixie3.jpg

Cute right? Then she looks right at you and you can see the calculating look in her eyes:
Pixie11.jpg

That's when the true demon comes out, see her here tormenting my mice?:

Here's our other cat, He's a half rescue adopted through Petsmart. He looked at my husband one day and the hubby was hooked. The poor guy is cross-eyed and has a broken nose, but he can still catch kangaroo rats when he sneaks outside. His full name is Mr. Clarence Wang, but we call him Mister or Wang for short.

A pic where you can really see his eyes:

And one more of them playing together:

And that's just the two kitties we currently have.. I'll post some fishes in the next post..

Ok, some of our favorite fishies...

Tim's spotted pleco, don't recall his correct name, but he was a looker until the gruesome two-some killed him off.

I have others, but the pics aren't the best... I'll have to take some better pics of the toads and the anoles too and post them another time. They just don't like to sit still though!

Oh, and here's one of Tim's favorite ratties, she was a double rex and sweet as can be. He called her Baby, and she lived with us for over 2 yrs before she developed tumors and subsequently died. (She was rescued from the feeder bin at a horrible pet store, so she lived a longer live then she was supposed to.) She was half bald and half permed! lol

All my animals stereotypically "don't mix." Here are the mammals I keep, starting with the mice...

Danigurrl, my daughter has a Senegal, he's about eight. He shredded his Happy Hut to make a nest. He then got his toes entangled and dangled there with circulation cut off. He had a partial foot amputation last week- today is his first bandage change...So just check your guy's cage frequently for any threads he could get caught on his feet.

Gorgeous pets guys!

LOVE your ferrets Titus! Wish I could get them here, but its still ilegal...(I think...)

I love all animals but my favs have to be Horses, Cats and snakes...lol I am and will always remain a cat person! lol We have two dogs but I don't have pics of them and they are actually my boyfriend's...I can't handle them too much because I am allergic to dogs...lol Thinking of getting a poodle though (hypoallergenic...) :santa:

First up is Velvet, my 6yr old Thoroughbred mare and the absolute love of my life! (Apart from my hunky Boyfriend Neil of course!! :grin01: ) I have had her for almost a year now and she is super! Been doing some intense training on her and will start taking her to shows in November. We compete in Showjumping together!

Next up is Miss Ming, she is our old lady and deserves to be mentioned first! She has just turned 15 and is as spritely as ever. She lost a front leg about 2yrs ago but is doing perfectly fine without it!

Ming.jpg

Then we have Duchess, aka Bear. She is technically my cat but I left her at my mom's house when I moved out (didn't want to separate the cats) She is really a big cat and solidly built! Not overweight but VERY heavy!

Bear1.jpg

Then we have Fudge, aka "The Foosa". My sister found him as a tiny kitten in a dustbin outside her school about 2yrs ago. He is a wonderful boy and such a pleasure to have around! He is getting HUGE and is already bigger than Bear! (which is saying something! lol)

Fudge2.jpg

And last up we have Squeakers, one of my "new" cats! lol She and her mom Chomp and Chomp's sister Marmite adopted me when I moved in with my BF and have firmly decided they are MY cats! lol Unforunately I don't have any decent pics of Chomp and Marmite...

First up is Ruby, our miniature dachshund. She thinks she's the woman of the house.

hubbahubba.jpg

Here's Krypto, our blue tick beagle. If I have something in my hands he gets scared, so I can't get a good picture of him.

OK...
Lady - our German Shepherd, found running in the middle of a busy 4 lane highway (REALLY stupid thing to be doing), but she turned out to be the best dog ever!

Mushy - our "dead" cat, was supposed to have been euthanized at a vet hospital because it vomited occasionally. Kill a 3 yr old pure-bred American Shorthair neutered and vaccinated cat because it vomited? It's a CAT...they vomit! They're the best vomiters in the animal kingdom! So...he was renamed and adopted into my home

What Lady would totally love to do with Mushy if given the opportunity. This was just a taste test.

Jennifer and Charlie are my dweebles. Most expensive and time-consuming pets I've ever had. And I've been told that the expense only increases as they get older. They are also a royal pain at times. But you know what...even though I will NEVER get any more of these things...I wouldn't trade this pair for anything...well, most anything. Dangle a pair of hypo Sunkissed diffuse Z lavenders in front of me and you can have my dweebles!

And I had to include the stupid fish. We have a few more fish, but this big one is the center of aquatic attention. That's a 110 gallon tank he's in and I gave him one of his special treats last night...a F/T pink rat pup. If allowed, he would eat about 6 of those before even starting to think he was full.

I am sitting here at work reading the post (hadn't scrolled down to the pics yet) and am trying to figure out what dweebles are. OMG Susan, when I looked at the pics and put 2+2 together...I was rolling on the floor I was laughing so hard!

:roflmao:  I'm glad I'm not the only one who did that!

Susan, I came close to having a pair of Dweebles, but I ended up with demon changlings instead! lol... Wanna trade?? :grin01: I've had absolutely no luck auctioning them off on e-bay... :sidestep:

Meg - I didn't know you had horses... *drools over pictures* They are both gorgeous!

Velvet - your horse is gorgeous too! (I love all horses!)

There is an insane amount of truth sentences like this one. My cats own the bed, the chairs, the couch, the fish tanks, the rest of the house, and we are just their slaves.

Jenn

wow, you guys all have amazing animals! i especially love the kitties!!! my three own everything in the house, except my bed :)
keep em coming, and i will post pics of my new corn when i get her this weekend!

don't have pics available of my other pets but i can still tell you guys about them

Loki- my '05 bearded dragon, very friendly and loves to lay on my shoulders he is 17-18 inches right now

Nani- my '05 leopard gecko, a little timid but still friendly she is 7" long

Ok my non reptile pets...

Nami- '04 border collie got her after my beloved Vash got killed...we also have her litter mate Meri..but she my moms dog. We got Nami and Meri from the same exact people we got Vash from

Athena- '03 Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, sweet as pie but cant be let off her chain without supervision cause she chases my horses and kills our cats..and my poor rabbit(RIP Yuki!). But would trade her for anything...we adopted her fom our local humane society in 2004 for my b-day

Koal- '06 sheepdog mix, half mine. He was also adopted from our local humane society...he was to be put down the the very next day if my mom hadn't of adopted him. He's a sweety but way to much energy for me and he's real big hes only about 7 months old and he already ways 76 pounds! We got him after Hank our labrador passed away

Gurli(girlie)- no idea how old she is but she has lots of bounce to her so i don't think shes very old..and she looks to be a rat terrier...she just wondered into our yard and attached herself to me so she's ours now

Daja- '06 tiger stripe calico kitten, very loveable and purrs at the drop of a hat. We have her mom and we did have her mom's mom but she got killed, we also have 2 of 3 of her siblings..her sister that we don't have went to one of my teachers and is very well looked after.

and now for my favorite pet..reptiles come a close second..sorry

Attitude- '00 buckskin gelding, 1/2 Arabian 1/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Appaloosa. Has his name for a reason..but he is sweet when he decides to be. He was near starvation when we bought him but he gained back the weight and is doing good. I often reffer to him as my attack/guard dog cause sometimes he doesn't like other people around me and really only listens to me, he a good boy although he sometimes makes you wonder

Phoenix- '96 dark bay gelding, Quarter Horse as far as i know. He was rescued by his previous owners...he was skin and bones and still a stallion but the rescued him, gelded him and fattened him and trained him to ride. I reffer to him as my teddy bear because he is so calm and sweet and gentle.

Sweety- '94 sorrel BLM(Bureau of Land Managment) Mustang caught in '99 in New Pass-Ravenswood, Nevada...originally adopted when she was 6. i got her this year on new years day...she was my christmas present. she was bred to a palomino welsh cob stud before we got her was confirmed in foal at 90 days or so along, she gave birth to a healthy sorrel colt september 15th '06. I call her my cat as she really only wants attention when she wants it but as soon as you have some she wants like grain she's glued to you.

Kid- '06 sorrel colt 1/2 BLM Mustang 1/2 Welsh Cob, born september 15th so he's 2 days over a month old today. he's built like Sweety but looks like his sire in the face. He's my Sugar-Monster as he's nice and and well behaved and gentle one moment and then he wants to try and kick and/or bite me the next...though he's not as bad as he used to be..he's learning that its not a good thing to bite or kick cause if he does he gets a swat for it

And thats it..we have more pets..but those are MY pets and it'd take to long write them all down..cause we have 2 dogs, 7 birds, 2 fish, 20 or so outdoor cats, 9 indoor cats(which includes my Daja) that i haven't told you guys about since theres so many of them
