lets see your other pets!!

Very nice animals for sure. I've always wanted a ferret, but it hasn't happened yet. No pictures, but I had a Siberian Husky that sadly I had to give away when I moved back home, as my parents had a black lab that was very dog aggressive. The black lab was recently put down due to recurrent growths in her hind end. Given the amount of snakes, pics of everybody is out of the question, so a few of my favorites instead!

I have 7 non-snakes. Here they are, in no real order:

My tortoishell twin cats, Molly (top) and Sally:

My Dutch Dwarf rabbit, Russel - and an old lad at over 9 years -

My Giant African Land Snails, Drusilla and Groosalugg (don't ask.) I know they're not very giant at the moment, but believe me they will grow.

A bad picture of my Ryukin, Sunny:

I also have a calico Ranchu - a fish with no dorsal fin - but I don't have a picture of her yet.

:)

2 cats

Stella, a polydactyl Bengal, ~2 1/2, and Zoe, the longhair, ~18. Stella keeps Zoe in shape, although right now Zoe is recovering from the surgical removal of a malignant tumor on her neck last week.

OMG!! Groosalugg is a perfect name! :grin01:

Any chance he'll turn into Mark Lutz if you kiss him? ;)

LOL! Starting to notice a trend with my animals? Groosalugg, Drusilla, Connor... :sidestep: :grin01:

:grin01: Nothing wrong with that!

I kind of pick names from across the board when it comes to Sci Fi/Fantasy.

Zam (Star Wars), Logan (X-Men), Inara (Firefly), Nimrod (short lived Surface).... :D

Had a fish named Jango once.

I'm glad to see I don't have a monopoly on Demon Kitties. :grin01: Pils (current Master of the House since the death of his older "brother" two years ago).

Jackie - definitely Daddy's Girl, although if Mom makes a warm lap, she has graced me with her presence (often until my legs fall asleep!).

Finally, Oliver, the current geriatric member of the family, missexed but not misnamed (it's a long story). She's My Green-eyed Baby.

Unfortunately, I don't have pix of the dog, the new geckos (hana's fault!), or the non-corns yet. Since my camera is about to die on me, I'm shopping for a new one to correct that oversight. :)

I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll tell you about mine:

Cats:
Sandy- The retard kitty who can cross her eyes. She likes to sit in the sink, and doesn't care if you turn it on.
Jimmy- The fatty who always pushes Sandy out of the way to get to dinner first.

Other herps:
Lily: The ball python that just loooooves to fall off of things. 1 foot or 10, it doesn't matter to her!
Rocky- The sulcata tortoise. Hobby: Poop art.

Fish:
Pleco-soething-or-other- Likes to eat other fish. Record: 5 neon tetras. Also attempted to suck out the other fish's brains.
Two little algae eater things: They like to eat algae, like they should, instead of eating other fish.
Two chichlids (I think): They're red and blue and pretty. :)

I'm starting to see a bit of a connection. Most of the snake lovers here seem to be cat people too. :) Or cat and dog lovers. Most just seem to include kitties. :)

I used to be more of a dog person. I have a dog and I love him, but...

These days, I am WAY too busy for a dog. It is hard to find time to spend as much time with my dog as he deserves. Cats are easy because they are not as demanding. Granted, most of them aren't as affectionate and when they are, it is on their schedule. As I have gotten older, I have learned that I MUCH prefer curling up on the couch with a calm, loving, purring ball of fur over being driven nuts by the hyperness of a dog!

I must agree Terri! lol Besides the fact that I would be sneezing my brains out and itchy violently all over if I curled up on a couch with a Dog! lol I am allergic...but love them anyway! :santa:

Personally, my cat's opinions mean more to me than my dog's...the dogs love everyone that gives them some sort of attention...the cats are far more picky!

My rule, if my Cats and my Horse like you, you are 100% a-okay! They don't give out their affections to just anyone but the people they like, are good people! lol :grin01:

My one dog loves most people, my other one, only select so dogs can be as picky as cats can. My one cat likes everyone, doesn't matter if you're a total stranger. The other one being a semi-feral takes a while to warm up to strangers. My dog's aren't hyper either. They can be, but they enjoy quietly curling up on the couch with you if you want. For instance....a little quiet reading on the couch...

Ok so I didn't realize how horrible the pic was of the dog, so I turn around and she curled up on a pillow that she knocked on the floor so I took better pics, I just adore her!
